Momus Radio
For me, this is the best example of the (usually) dreadfully boring practice known as "sound seeing". Momus walks around the likes of Osaka, Paris and Berlin, talking into his digital still camera about music, culture, art, design, architecture, etc.
Listening to these recordings (especially while walking around your own familiar streets), you can feel the unique ambiance of the places he visits. His witty, offbeat commentary and acute observations makes these an interesting listen, especially for the un-traveled like myself. In a nutshell: you write a word on a lampost in blue with an underline. You tell Grafedia ppl the word, and send them a media file that you think best illustrates the word (make your own, ideally), and then they make the file accessible to anybody who sms's to theword@grafedia.net.
