Comedian in trouble for eating sausage while driving on his TV show
Being a comedian in Germany can be hard at times. Comedy star Hape Kerkeling has received a legal complaint from a television viewer for eating a sausage while driving in his new show, in which he plays a taxi driver.
A German comedian who plays a taxi driver in a candid camera show has received a legal complaint from a viewer who spotted him committing two minor traffic violations on television.
In his show "Hallo Taxi," Hape Kerkeling, 43, a gifted impersonator, has amusing conversations with passengers which are recorded by a hidden camera. One viewer seemed to be paying more attention to his driving than the comic aspect of the show.

Andy Dick arrested
And dick was arrested on drug charges, public drunkedness and sexual battery charges on a 17 year old in Murrieta, CA.
Police in Murrieta say comedian Andy Dick, who was arrested today on charges of sexual battery and suspicion of drug possession, had been warned earlier by officers to leave another local bar or face charges of public intoxication. Lt. Dennis Vrooman said police were called to the Corner Pocket Sports Bar about 9 p.m. Tuesday after receiving reports of a disturbance. When they arrived, they found Dick extremely intoxicated, he said. Rather than arrest the 42-year-old actor for public intoxication, they gave him the option to leave, which he did, Vrooman said. Dick later ended up at Buffalo Wild Wings on Murrieta Hot Springs Road, where he drank with four or five friends, Vrooman said. Several bar patrons recognized Dick and approached him, including a 17-year-old girl.
"She recognized that he was extremely intoxicated and walked away," Vrooman said.
Later, as Dick and his friends were leaving, Vrooman said, Dick spotted the girl and her friend and shouted, "There are the girls. Moments later, he allegedly fondled the girl's breast with his right hand and then pulled her top down in the parking lot.
"The victim was traumatized by this," Vrooman said.

Mr Methane to blow away audiences
The world's only full-time performing flatulist is promising to "blow away audiences" at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe.
Mr Methane, alias former train driver Paul Oldfield, will reveal his unique skills in a show called An Audience With Mr Methane.
In it, he tells broadcaster Martin Kelner how his 'talent' came to light when he accompanied his sister in yoga practice.
He discovered - to his surprise and delight - that he was able to take in air through the rear, retain it, and then expel it as and when he chose.
At first, it was nothing more than a party trick to entertain fellow railwaymen, but eventually Mr Methane found that by careful control, he could pick out a simple tune.
He gradually expanded his repertoire, which now ranges from Strauss's Blue Danube waltz through to Kylie Minogue's I Should Be So Lucky.
Using audio visual aids, Kelner will tell the Methane story, and may join him on a moving rendition of Da Doo Ron Ron, "performed fore and aft".
Mr Methane will tell how he conquered the Howard Stern show in America, did sell-out tours in Australia, and became a star on Japanese TV.
"He wanted to call it Working My Passage but I persuaded him not to," reveals Kelner.

Hippie Man does his comedy at the Back Bowl
Yes, Hippie Man and the Back Bowl do go together. Just because he has smoked a bowl out in the back of many places, doesn't mean Hippie Man has been to the Back Bowl in Eagle, Colorado. He may fit in well with the Boulder, Colorado crowd, but some of the local cowboys in Eagle, Colorado don't necessarily get all of his humour, do you!? Political humour and real live always get you........well, hopefully!

Al Franken wins endorsement for Senate in Minnesota, USA
I think it's great that he's running. Comedians are just another type of activists, and politicians who were activists first are the type of people I want with the power, not corporate pets. We've got blacks, women, Jews, and hopefully more minorities running for politics. It's a good change in America.
"Al Franken has won a resounding endorsement for U.S. Senate from Democratic activists at the Minnesota state convention.
The former "Saturday Night Live" writer and performer beat college professor Jack Nelson-Pallmeyer on the first ballot Saturday. Franken had just given a speech to delegates apologizing for past jokes that offended some fellow Democrats.
Nelson-Pallmeyer conceded the endorsement to Franken and moved that Democrats unanimously back Franken. They did so by voice vote.
Republican Sen. Norm Coleman has his party's endorsement for re-election. "
