Assembling the Pieces: pc muñoz's Grab Bag
Next month, Bay Area artist pc muñoz (whose musical career includes work with Jackson Browne, Dr. Fink of Prince and the Revolution, and longtime Kronos Quartet cellist Joan Jeanrenaud) will release his latest, and most diverse, collection of songs under the album title "Grab Bag" (Talking House Records). Are we talking motion pictures for the American rap recording artist Lord Hector Diono? There are rumors circulating about a motion picture script the rapper was writing about a year ago,and a book he's been trying to finish, but while reviewing this video, the uncut version of "Scarecrow" directed by the artist himself, you sort of get an idea of what it might be like to see him on the big screen. Hector says he's just bieng Hector but the video takes you there and you can't help but wonder, will we be seeing more of Lord hector diono in settings like this? If so bring it on! Crowd Control with pc muñoz
Bay Area artist pc muñoz presented his most recent performance project, an artist-audience collaboration piece called Crowd Control, on April 20 in Berkeley, CA. The performance was part of a benefit for Fusion and featured his band, Left Hook, who demonstrate their skills for creating improvised, unconventional and funky soundscapes.

Corinne Bailey Rae's husband found dead
The singer is said to be devastated after her husband, 31-year-old saxophonist Jason Rae, was found dead from a suspected drugs overdose. The body was found at a flat in Leeds, and police officers have arrested a 32-year-old man on suspicion of supplying 'controlled drugs'. Jason's band, The Haggis Horns, recently released a well-received debut album, and have played as a backing band for Amy Winehouse, Mark Ronson and Bailey Rae herself.
