John Mayer Says Guitar Hero Is For Wannabes!
Yes, John Mayer, you play an awesome guitar…we all know that. But, John feels that Guitar Hero is a cheap comparison to the real thing.
He tells Rolling Stone: “Guitar Hero was devised to bring the guitar-playing experience to the masses without them having to put anything into it.
“And having done both, there’s nothing like really playing guitar. I mean, what would you rather drive, a Ferrari or one of those amusement-park cars on a track?”
I was just talking about this today to someone…I thought Guitar Hero would be a great way to get started playing guitar to learn the coordination. I could have easily written this to you in an email, but you’ve been so cool to write positive things about me on your blog(s) that I want to respond in kind.
Here’s using blogs for something other than pointing out boob jobs and slight limps.

You’re one of the best eggs in the music industry, hands down. With as much talent as you have, I’d expect you’d have some eccentric ego, but from what I can tell you seem to have none. (That actually makes you more talented, by way of some crazy cosmic arithmetic.) Every time we get the chance to hang I’m inspired by your creativity. Your mind is like a stadium with the dome open… you have ZERO judgment when it comes to things that move you. When most people get the feeling they might like an idea, or a shirt, they run it through a series of filters; ‘what should I think, given my personal attributes?’ ‘How does this read?’ ‘What would Kanye do?’ You have what makes talented people successful for years and years - a brave sense of self and a completely authentic relationship with your tastes.
That’s why I’ll throw a guitar in the car and be there anytime you need me. It’s a short list. (I’m lazy.)
Isn’t it weird when you’re alone in your hotel room and the ice in that bucket melts, shifting it all and making it sound like someone’s hiding in your closet? That always gets me.
Sorry.
Point is, I think the world of you. And wish you all the happiness your artsy head will accept. Fame is just one big lesson in being a man, and you’re doing a bang up job…

John Mayer seems to be getting sweeter and sweeter these days! Yesterday, in Los Angeles he charged $10 to a fan to take his picture! Would you pay $10 for a picture of John? And she gave it to him too! What was John’s reply?
“I just charged 10 dollars for a picture, I know what I’m worth.”

Yes, says celeb blogger Perez Hilton, who hit the airwaves Thursday morning to detail an alleged recent make-out he had with the singer.
"He is definitely bi," Hilton declared on Ryan Seacrest's KIIS-FM radio show, adding that Mayer is "struggling with his sexuality."
Of their liplock at NYC club Stereo last year, Hilton said, "He kissed me, and I kissed him back. It was on the mouth with tongue.
"I thought he was messing with me," Hilton went on. "Then he kept going and going."
Hilton claims Jessica Simpson — Mayer's girlfriend at the time — didn't mind.
"While John Mayer and I are making out, she is rubbing his crotch," Hilton recalled.
Mayer's rep tells Usmagazine.com, "This is all so ridiculous." Simpson's rep had no comment.
Hilton insisted, "It's 100% true."

Even if John Mayer WAS bi he certainly wouldn't be making out with someone like Perez Hilton. He's a gross human being that shouldn't be spreading this kind of story anyways.
