No Radiohead for Palahniuk's new film
Radiohead have quashed the rumours that they are writing the score for Chuck Palahniuk's new film, Choke.
There has been much anticipation about the new film from Fight Club author, and that only grew after Palahniuk told BBC 6 Music that Radiohead had written the film's score.
A spokesperson for the band has denied that they wrote the whole score and claimed that they had only contributed 1 song to the film, 'Reckoner' from their latest album 'In Rainbows.'

Radiohead -- incredible video for “House of Cards”
Not only is this my favorite song off this album, but now the folks at Blip Boutique have created a stunning video for the sublime track.
In keeping with Radiohead's commitment to not create any "traditional" music videos for tracks off of In Rainbows, this gem uses "real time 3D recording instead of cameras, utilizing highly technical structured light and Lidar laser-enhanced scanners to model Thom Yorke," resulting in a vid that is surreal and, i think, pretty effing awesome. ...che però sono troppo pigri per andarseli a prendere.
Stando a un articolo del Sun, i francesi hanno ignorato l'ennesimo tentativo di Thom Yorke di salvare il pianeta perché sono troppo pigri per andare in bicicletta.
Il gruppo aveva messo a disposizione 50 biglietti gratis per una data già sold-out. La regola era quella del "chi primo arriva...", a patto che i fan si presentassero alla sede parigina della XL in bici.
Ben 35 biglietti su 50 non sono stati consegnati.

The French are too lazy to grab free Radiohead tickets
According to The Sun, the French ignored Thom Yorke's attempt to save the world from climate change because they are too lazy to ride a bike.
50 free passes for a sold-out gig in France were available on a first-come, first-served basis at XL's Paris office. The only snag was that fans would have to collect them by bicycle.
35 of the 50 tickets went unclaimed.

Radiohead: un nuovo video per i diritti umani
Radiohead hanno prestato un brano a MTV per EXIT, la campagna mediatica per i diritti umani che intende mettere fine allo sfruttamento e traffico di persone.
Il video, da una settimana in rotazione su tutti i canali di MTV, si sviluppa su uno schermo diviso in due e mette a confronto la giornata tipo di un bambino occidentale benestante con quella di un coetaneo costretto a lavorare in una fabbrica di scarpe. "All I Need", estratto dal recente "In Rainbows", è il brano scelto per promuovere l'iniziativa di MTV.
Il direttore della fotografia è John Seale, celebre per aver lavorato ne "Il Paziente Inglese" e "Ritorno a Cold Mountain", mentre la regia è stata affidata a Steve Rogers. Il video è stato girato in Australia.
...Cosa ne pensate? Io penso sia uno dei migliori video dei Radiohead negli ultimi anni, nonché la mia traccia preferita di "In Rainbows".

New Radiohead video against human trafficking
"Radiohead have donated a song to MTV to use in a human rights media campaign ‘EXIT’ (end exploitation and trafficking)
The video, which will premiere on MTV channels globally from May 1, features a split screen showing the day in the life of a well-off child from a western country and a poor child who is forced to work in a shoe factory sweatshop. In Rainbows track ‘All I Need’ will promote the MTV Exit initiative that aims to end exploitation and human trafficking.
It was filmed in Australia by cinematographer John Seale, who has worked on The English Patient and Cold Mountain, and director Steve Rogers."
