Pinkberry manages to offend customers with mandarin juicer
Pinkberry customers are up in arms about Asian stereotypes among the Alessi housewares carried by the fro-yo chain. Of particular offense are the Mandarin Juicers, which the Drop the Juicer! Campaign describes as "essentially three-dimensional caricatures of Chinese 'coolies' or laborers who emigrated to the United States well over a century ago." Scotland Yard is to be sued for racism
Scotland Yard is to be sued for racism by its most senior Asian officer after mediation talks between the two sides broke down.
The Metropolitan police assistant commissioner, Tarique Ghaffur, will lodge formal papers outlining his complaints with an employment tribunal, it was revealed tonight. Colleagues say there is "compelling" evidence of bullying, discrimination and victimisation against the officer.
Solicitors acting on behalf of Ghaffur informed the force of the move today. The decision leaves the Met commissioner, Sir Ian Blair, facing a painful legal showdown with one of his closest colleagues.
Ghaffur is said to have compiled a dossier detailing what he claims is victimisation by Blair and the police authority chairman, Len Duvall. Both men have denied in the strongest terms that they behaved inappropriately in any way. In short, the current 5% sales tax will not be enough to pay for the influx of people that will be eligible for aid next fiscal year. The Financial Minster pushes the idea to increase the national sales tax to combat the costs as soon as possible. Prime Minister Fukuda expresses similar concern. Tokyo is already the second most expensive city in the world to live in-- imagine after the tax!

Kato to be served murder warrant for Akihabara rampage
Aside from having really high suicide rates, Japan is a relatively safe place to live. So, anything out of the peaceful ordinary is worth bringing up.
"Police said Wednesday they are preparing to serve Tomohiro Kato with an arrest warrant for murdering seven people on the streets of Tokyo's Akihabara district on June 8... The truck and knife rampage left seven dead and 10 wounded."

Mina's Way
Overall, Mina has an interesting life full of highs and lows. He has great friends, a great disposition, and a great story to tell. He has challenges in his life may it be social, financial, cultural, or school-related. Although he seems to live double life, Mina has plenty of time to be Mina.
Mina looks like your average student. He is creative, witty, and wears American Eagle. However, there is more than meets the eye with this young man. Moving to California from Minnesota gave Mina more freedom to find himself and be the man he is inside on the outside.
From partying five nights a week to performing in drag, Mina will help us experience gay culture in Ventura, California. We will see the good, the bad, and the ugly in this film. This is a culture that many do not see.
