Former Porn Star Sees Film As Vehicle for Telling Story
It wasn't that long ago that adult film star Crissy Moran gave up the life she knew. She said goodbye to working in the porn industry and said hello to a life in Christ. Since then, Crissy has been working to help those still trapped in that life. It was in early 2008 that she found a chance to return to film, this time with a message.
"Oversold" is a short film adaptation of the Biblical story of Hosea. Set in the present, the story walks the viewer through the struggles of Sophi, a stripper trying to break out of that life. Sophi meets and falls for a Pastor, Joshua. Their two worlds collide and they are forced to deal with this fallout. How do people treat a pastor that loves a stripper? Do people ever really accept the stripper into the real world?

Burlesque Queen Tempest Storm: Still Strippin’ Away at 80!!
Old burlesque strippers never die, they just keep on hoofin' away. At 80 years-old, Tempest Storm is still performing her famous burlesque strip act in Las Vegas, Reno, Palm Springs, Miami and Carnegie Hall. And when Tempest performs on-stage, she carries herself as the headliner, a very classy star.
Her act remains symbolic of the old, golden days of strippers in burlesque. Tempest knows nothing about that pole-dancing stuff and would never even think about putting her derriere in a man’s face. Her stage prop of choice is still an orchid-colored boa, perhaps the occasional velvet divan.

Dallas strip club will not lose license over 12 year old stripper
That's right. A sixth grader was found to be dancing nude at a Dallas area strip club.
The mere fact that a 12-year-old girl danced nude at a northwest Dallas strip club isn't enough to close its doors.
That's because the city ordinance that regulates sexually oriented businesses does not allow authorities to revoke the license of such a business for employing someone under the age of 18.
The sixth-grader danced at Diamonds Cabaret over a two-week period late last year, authorities say. They also say they found a 17-year-old girl working in the club in January.

"If they're not shut down, it's like they're giving them permission to have underage girls dancing and working in that club," said the mother of the 12-year-old. The mother is not being named because her daughter, a runaway at the time of the incident, is considered a sexual assault victim.

Seeking £10-an-hour webcam strippers
London, Feb 9 : Internet porn magnates are advertising in a Jobcentre for unemployed women to strip and talk dirty on the web, to satisfy pervert customers.
The ad, offering wages of 10 pounds an hour, is available in the Jobcentre in Clapham, where job seekers use touch-screen computers to search for work.
The advert attempts to recruit women to strip off online using webcams that can be set up in their own homes to broadcast images across the world to clients paying for the privilege.
The Jobcentre advertised the position this week, stating that the job “may cause embarrassment to some people”.
