“Wardrobe Malfunction” Fine Stripped: Timberlake Sings About It
Last night on ESPYs, Justin Timberlake performed a song about Janet Jackson's legendary “wardrobe malfunction” during the 2004 Super Bowl.
Coincidentally, this morning the Third Circuit Court overturned the $550,000 fine that CBS had paid to the FCC for the incident, ruling that the network could not be held accountable for the actions of “independent contractors” (Timberlake and Janet Jackson).
However, the court added, that if the FCC wanted to fine ESPN for Timberlake’s lame song, that would be okay!!
Photographs and the video of Timberlake's hilariously sorry song are included. Last night on ESPYs, Justin Timberlake performed a song about Janet Jackson's legendary “wardrobe malfunction” during the 2004 Su... more -

NFL Power Rankings have the Champion at No.6
The ESPN has pulled out the first NFL Power Rankings since the end of the season and a long list of questions have popped up. The most important - how good are the guys at the ESPN when it's time to predict the NFL Power Rankings? You can see the full list of the NFL Power Rankings by clicking here, but for most of the football fans, it's a shocker that the 2008 Super Bowl winner the New York Giants made it only to No.6 on the list, considering there were little changes in the team so far. The reason for the low ranking of the Giants - "Teams other than the Patriots aren't supposed to repeat as Super Bowl champions" - no respect for the Giants whatsoever. And to add insult to injury, the NFL Power Rankings have the Cowboys at No.4, which means that the Super Bowl winner, a.k.a. The Champion, failed to even be the best in its division, the NFC East.
But to be fair, the odds makers bank little on the New York Giants this season, as well. At the online sportsbook BodogSports, the Giants are sitting on the long 16/1 odds to win the next Big Game, while the Patriots are once again the favorite football team with odds 10/3. The NFL Power Rankings published by the ESPN indeed follow the odds reported on the next Super Bowl winner - the Indianapolis Colts are at 15/2, the Cowboys and the Chargers follow with 8/1 each and the Jacksonville Jaguars hold odds of 12/1 to win the next Championship. The ESPN has pulled out the first NFL Power Rankings since the end of the season and a long list of questions have popped up. The most... more -

Patriots won the Super Bowl...in Nicaragua
Hundreds of shirts and caps, which had been manufactured in advance to celebrate the Patriots' expected victory over the New York Giants, have ended up in the hands of poor Nicaraguan children.
No word on whether or not Bill Belichick helped hand out the shirts, or just walked away from the children in disgust 45 seconds before the job was finished. Hundreds of shirts and caps, which had been manufactured in advance to celebrate the Patriots' expected victory over the New York... more -
Bellichick departs field early
Despite the fact during his 18-1 season no opposing coach ever left the field with time on the clock Bill Bellichick took liberty to do so after his harrowing loss to the giants. He has drawn much criticism this year as both the only coach in the history of the league to be caught cheating in what was deemed "spygate" The game in question was a victory against a Jets team coached by former Patriots coordinator Eric Mangini. Bellichick drew criticism for his smug treatment of mangini after his victories last year and for storming off the field after his loss in the AFC championship game against the colts in which he refused to shake Peyton Mannings hand something manning did four times previously in tough losses to the Patriots. Ladanian Tomlinson who has been admired for his active service in the community as well as his NFL performance had this to say about the Patriots after several players taunted fans in the stand after last years AFC semifinal "They have no Class, and I think that stems from the top, from thier head coach." Despite the fact during his 18-1 season no opposing coach ever left the field with time on the clock Bill Bellichick took liberty to d... more

2008's Super Bowl ads - online viewing gold?
As a Brit, the Super Bowl means nothing to me. From what I gather it's a massively hyped sporting spectacle involving brass bands, truckloads of glitter and streamers, grunting and humongous fridge-shaped men with names like Todd Chipmeister who play for teams with very masculine, patriotic names like The Giants, The Raiders and, um, The Patriots.
What I do know is that Superbowl adverts are great. Ever since I saw Terry Tate: Office Linebacker in 2003, I look forward to watching them online. With a price tag of $2.7 million for a 30-second spot, advertisers have to go all out to get the attention of the 90 million viewers watching. The results are a collection of some of the funniest, weirdest and most engaging ads of the year.

Giants Win The Super Bowl
The New York Giants used a dramatic finish to defeat the New England Patriots 17-14 tonight upending their quest at the perfect season.
For a moment, it looked like Tom Brady and the Pats were once again the victors as he drove his for what looked to be the winning drive with 2:30 minutes remaining. The Giants, however, would not let up.
Eli Manning, who for years has been defined as not "winning the big game", came through with an 80 yard drive in the closing minutes. The drive will always be remembered for Eli Manning getting away from 3 Pats defenders and completing a pass that was hauled in by a Giants receiver. The winning catch was caught by Plaxico Burress.
The Giants came in as 12.5 point underdogs and walk away from Phoenix as Super Bowl champions.

50 Cent makes Paris cry
During his performance at the Paris Hilton-hosted pre-Super Bowl party for 944 magazine last night, 50 Cent gave a shout out to Paris, who then started singing in the front row. However, when the celebutard decided to get onstage and dance, the hip-hopper's crew and stagehands quickly instructed her to "Get the f**k off the stage." She started to cry and tried to plead with the party's production staff to let her dance, whining, "But it's my party!"
