Alternative fuel - Salt water
I saw a report a few years ago on my local TV news about John Kanzius, a former radio executive, who had discovered that radio frequency will make salt water burn.
I was so fascinated by this idea. I wished I had a few billion dollars to buy his patent and turn his discovery into planet saving technology.
Now, on Sunday, I saw 60 Minutes did a story on John Kanzius and his breakthroughs on cancer research. 60 Minutes did not mention the salt water power solution Kanzius discovered. I wonder why.
Does anyone know if someone bought the technology from Kanzius? I saw a report a few years ago on my local TV news about John Kanzius, a former radio executive, who had discovered that radio frequen... more -

Federal Judge Upholds Law on Emissions in California
WASHINGTON A federal judge in Sacramento on Wednesday upheld a California law regulating greenhouse gas emissions from cars and trucks, another in a string of legal defeats for the auto industry this year.
This is the fourth defeat for the Bush administration and the auto companies, Mr. Brown said, and I hope it sends a powerful message to the White House and to Congress that Californias role as an innovator should be appreciated and not negated. Learn from this Athens, OH man what it is like to run your car off of others people's garbage. That's right, they used to have to pay people to haul away their cooking grease and now he takes it for free. Not only that, after some straining, he can run his car on the waste cooking oil. Wouldn't it be nice to say the last time you stopped at a gas station was several THOUSAND miles ago? Well he can.

The world does'nt need a $3,000 car.
Recently, it was reported that Renault and Nissan have proposed manufacturing a $3,000 car. More gas powered cars are not what is needed. Imagine the damage to an already fragile environment. What we need is a $3,000 electric car. Engineers should be focusing on making alternative energy sources affordable. Hydrogen is a good first start. Fuel cell technology could be the technology that saves our environment but we need to develop a way of making hydrogen refueling affordable. Who Saved The Electric Car?
Tesla's CEO Martin Eberhard is helping shape a future without gas. Seemingly out of nowhere, he has drawn upon the power of labtop lithium batteries to power an entirely electric car that does 0-60 faster than a Mercedes and goes for up to 250 miles at about 2 cents a mile before it needs recharging.
