Sting is hardly walking on the moon after learning that his teenage daughter Coco shared a tent with Pete Doherty at Glastonbury.
The Police frontman reportedly went through the roof when it emerged 17-year-old Coco was within spitting distance of the celebrated junkie.
A fellow Glastonbury festival-goer spotted the Babyshambles singer, 29, lying down in Coco's tent at the music festival. Pete and Coco Sumner's friendship is blossoming after they met at a Soho jazz bar in London, and Pete has been helping her develop her songwriting and guitar skills. Troubled singer Amy Winehouse has sent a bizarre appeal to her jailed husband Blake Fielder-Civil - through a mouse. In a video posted on YouTube, the video sharing website, Winehouse appears with fellow musician Pete Doherty playing with "about 30" newborn mice.
"This one's got a message for Blake," Winehouse says, holding one of the tiny creatures on her finger and pushing it towards the camera.
"Blake, please don't divorce mummy. She loves you ever so," she says.

Not long out of rehab, it turns out that Doherty, encouraged by drummer Adam Ficek, has become a practitioner of chi gung (also spelled qigong or chi kung) and tai chi. Chi gung is the ancient Chinese art of developing and cultivating one's chi power - variously translated as internal energy or life force - by various exercises. It's been described as "self-administered acupuncture, without the needles", which no doubt meets with the approval of Doherty's management."
So is this good news for the singer? Or is he just replacing drug addiction with exercise addiction? This is a really interesting report comparing the effects of drug with effects of exercise, and suggests that while there is a difference between positive and negative addictions, we can still have negative addictions to positive things like exercise.
