    • Nicolas Cage Talks Ghost Rider 2

there maybe a sequel for Ghost Rider, even it considered to be one of the lesser Marvel movies. According to Empire:

But the Mark Steven Johnson movie grossed over $200 million worldwide, and has done pretty well on home entertainment, so it’s hardly surprising to find that there has been talk of a sequel.

But with Johnson busy returning to comedy with next year’s When In Rome, we hadn’t heard anything in a while. But Nicolas Cage – ol’ Johnny Blaze himself – has been talking to Coming Soon and mentioned that a Ghost Rider 2 could be in the offing after all.

Is Tom Cruise too old for "Mission: Impossible 4"?

According to a report in PageSix.com http://www.pagesix.com), Cruise reportedly met with Paramount execs recently about another "Mission: Impossible" movie but stormed out in frustration when it was hinted that they felt the 46-year-old actor couldn't hold up an action film.

    • 'Dark Knight' sets weekend record with $155.34M

It comes as no surprise that "Dark Knight" made the kind of box office numbers that it did during its opening weekend. The film has been critically acclaimed for its top notch performances, visual effects, and character driven story lines.

Rumors abound about Heath receiving a posthumous Oscar for his incendiary turn as the twisted villain The Joker.

Have you seen it? What do you think?

    • Rambo, 20 Years Later

After the return of Rocky Balboa failed to "stay conscious in the ring," Stallone is bringing back the 80s badass bloodthirsty John Rambo. I never saw Rocky Balboa, but I didn't hear great things. I do think that Rambo, however, will be a fun time in the theater.

    • American Gangster-A Must See

I saw American Gangster with Denzel Washington and Russell Crowe yesterday, and recommend it. It is a factual and real depiction of the life of Frank Lucas, the drug kingpin who started out as the driver for Harlem mob boss Bumpy Johnson (Clarence Williams III,) and his ascension to millionaire due to selling heroin straight from the Golden Triangle in Thailand during the VIetnam War which he had delivered in the coffins of dead soldiers, and the inner workings of his own organization that bypassed even the mob. It also depicts the life of Richie Roberts, the cop from NJ who finally brings him down and then works with him to expose foreign nationals and cops on the take dealing confiscated drugs. It was real to me, because I lived through the seventies and felt like I was back again watching this film, and yes, the music is good too. I would say if Denzel Washington is not given a nod for an Oscar nomination as well as Russell Crowe, it would be a crime (pardon the pun.) "Cape Fear"
"Blue Chips" (starring alongside noted thespians Shaq and Rick Fox)

      "Hotel Rwanda"

      Now that's a stellar resume!

    • Movies Go to War

In the upcoming movie "Grace is Gone," John Cusack plays a grieving husband who must tell his daughters that their mother has died in Iraq. He signed on to the film as both star and producer, he said, partly because the Bush administration has forbidden the showing of pictures of soldiers' coffins returning from Iraq. • Do you Shaky Cam?

The first time I distinctly remember seeing it was in NYPD Blue back in...what...the early 90s? Since then, hyper-edited hand-held camera work has become so common that action movies that actually use tripods seem to be in the minority. For a lot of people, this culminated in the latest Bourne flick, The Bourne Ultimatum, a film which averages 2 seconds per shot and has actually caused a few people to throw up when watching it on the IMAX screen (what a dumb idea that was.)In the linked article, Roger Ebert (though only Film critic to win a pulitzer) weighs in on the whole thing.Personally I loved Bourne Ultimatum, perhaps having learned to let shaky cam wash over my irises in a zombified stupor. But for some people, it can ruin a movie. What do you think? The first time I distinctly remember seeing it was in NYPD Blue back in...what...the early 90s?
