The hottest Prince: William!
Britain`s Prince William has been named the world`s hottest royal, beating brother Harry and cousins Zara Phillips and Princess Beatrice.
The Prince`s “international intrigue and unparalleled media attention” earned him the top spot. The future king of Britain is a press favorite–photogenic with a graceful public persona. His mother`s high-profile life and the drama surrounding the royal family since her death keeps him in the global spotlight.
The eldest son of the late Princess Diana and present heir apparent Prince Charles, toped the list ahead of his younger brother in Forbes ranking.
In the “honour” list compiled by the business magazine, only unmarried royals under the age of 35 were considered and took into account international web and media coverage as well as family wealth.
Prince William and his younger brother have hogged media attention recently for their military service, with Harry secretly fighting in Afghanistan for ten weeks.
Prince Harry, who has earned a reputation as the more carefree of the two siblings due to his “un-royal behaviour”, was second on the list of `Hottest Young Royals`.
The youngest member on the list is Princess Beatrice of York, in fourth place. At just 19 years old, Princess Beatrice inherited the spotlight from her mother, Sarah Ferguson, the Duchess of York. Beatrice attracts press for hobnobbing in elite fashion circles and for her reported friendship with paparazzi favourite Kate Moss.
The only non-British royal to make the top five was Charlotte Casiraghi, daughter of Monaco`s Princess Caroline and fourth in line to the Monaco throne. Britain`s Prince William has been named the world`s hottest royal, beating brother Harry and cousins Zara Phillips and Princess Beatri... more -
Isolated tribe spotted in Brazil
One of South America's few remaining uncontacted indigenous tribes has been spotted and photographed on the border between Brazil and Peru.
The Brazilian government says it took the images to prove the tribe exists and help protect its land.
The pictures, taken from an aeroplane, show red-painted tribe members brandishing bows and arrows.
More than half the world's 100 uncontacted tribes live in Brazil or Peru, Survival International says.
Stephen Corry, the director of the group - which supports tribal people around the world - said such tribes would "soon be made extinct" if their land was not protected. Hindu temple in couple's bedroom attracts 50,000 worshippers
Sushila and Dhirajlal Karia have welcomed 50,000 visitors into their spare room since they turned it into a Hindu temple.
The couple converted the space about 30 years ago when they realised there was no temple in Clacton-on-Sea, or the rest of Essex, at that time.
So they invited a priest from India to bless the shrine, complete with marble statues of gods and goddesses, and word soon spread.
'They come in coach-loads – two or three at the most because we can't accommodate more than that,' said Mr Karia.
'We don't keep a record but it is in the region of 40,000 and 50,000 in the past 30 years.'

Stonehenge was a family burial ground
The secret of Stonehenge has apparently been solved: The mysterious circle of large stones in southern England was primarily a burial ground for almost five centuries, and the site probably holds the remains of a family that long ruled the area, new research concludes.
Based on radiocarbon dating of cremated bones up to 5,000 years old, researchers with the Stonehenge Riverside Project said they are convinced the area was built and then grew as a "domain of the ancestors."
The finding marks a significant rethinking of Stonehenge. In the past it was believed that some burials took place there for a century but that the site's significance lay in its ceremonial and religious functions, including serving as a center for healing.
A combination of the radiocarbon dating, excavations nearby that have revealed a once-thriving village and the fact that the number of cremated remains appeared to grow over a 500-year period convinced researchers that the site was used for a long time and most likely was a burial ground for one ruling family.
