    • MTV Plans On Ending TRL, Eminem Comments

After more than a decade on the air, and 2,000 shows, MTV's "Total Request Live" - better known as "TRL" - is being taken off of the air.

It's undeniable that the show helped introduce the nation to many acts like 50 Cent, Eminem, Christina Aguilera, N'Sync, and many more of the 90's and 00's biggest acts.

"I'm going to miss 'TRL,'" said Eminem who, at the height of his popularity, took over hosting duties for a week. "Where else will I be able to start feuds, defend my honor vigorously and act like an angry teenager on national TV? Oh wait...the VMAs!"

    • The Game Disses Eminem On New Song “My Life ft. Lil Wayne”

‘All the pictures of me and Em, I burned them,’ he raps in the L.A.X. song.

Coming off his song "Game’s Pain," it’s clear the Game’s mood isn’t getting any brighter. "My Life," another track from his L.A.X. LP was leaked Wednesday night. It features Lil Wayne and showcases more of Game’s wordplay and his very vocal torment.

"All the pictures of me and Em, I burned them," he raps, referencing Slim Shady. "So there ain’t no proof I walked through 8 Mile/ And so since it ain’t no Proof, I’ll never walk through 8 Mile/ Sometimes I think about my life with my face down/ Then I see my sons and put on my Kanye smile."

Later, he references Notorious B.I.G. "Biggie, Brooklyn’s Jesus, shot for no f—in’ reason/ And you wonder why Kanye West wears his Jesus pieces."

Game also talks about his own troubles, rhyming over the slow, melancholy track. "Hated on so much, ‘Passion of the Christ’ needs a sequel/ Yeah, like Roc-A-Fella needs a [Beanie] Sigel."

"You ain’t grindin’ till you die," Wayne sings on the hook, with some help from the Auto-Tune. "So I’m grindin’ with my eyes wide looking to find a way through the day/ … Dear Lord, you have taken so many of my people/ I’m just wondering why you haven’t taken my life."

Game’s next video, however, is more upbeat. It’s called "Dope Boys" and features Travis Barker. The two recently shot the clip in California. You’ll see heavy performances as well as some explicit images of hustling. Game’s L.A.X. is slated for release later this summer.

    • The Game Clears Up Eminem/Proof "Diss"

The recently leaked Game song featuring Lil Wayne titled "My Life" [click to listen] is already making waves on the internet. But it is not because of the obvious two top tier emcees on the song. The issue at hand is the version that leaked onto the net with Game spitting the following lines:

"You see them 24’s spinning, I earned ‘em/and all the pictures of me and Em, I burned ‘em/ so there ain’t no proof that I ever walked through 8 Mile/and since there’s no Proof, I’ll never walk through 8 Mile"

    • Whats The Worst Song Of All Time??

I know its been a minute since the last post but I been doing recording alot of new music lately so I havent had the time BUT I got a lil time and there is something I HAD to share with yall. Even though I hate wack shit, I think one of my hobbies is listening to extremely bad shit or just plain infamous ass shit. Shit like Shawty Lo's line 'How you laughing? like HA HA HA' or anything off the hilariously classic and quotable 'Controversy' album by the legend Willie D (Bald Head Hoes is beyond a classic). But the song I found isnt by any of the usual suspects or anyone you know and if you do know these dudes you should of stopped them a LONG time ago. They are called Young Spuset and these niggas are the Bentley's in wack music. Off beat rhymes, terrible harmonies and bad execution. Everything that could of went wrong, did go wrong.

Now I love how music can make you want to make music but sometimes music aint for all of us. Then again if you stay at it you can get better, cause I would have never guess Wayne would be where he was if you asked me back when the Block is Hot came out. So here is the WACKEST MOST FUCKED UP SONG ADD-2 HAS HEARD PERIOD.... Young Spuset's 'Lets Stay Together'. If you can make it thru the whole song I tips my hat to you...

Do you have an opinion on who has the worst song of all time....Click here....

    • Eminem To Make A Comeback

The worst kept secret has finally been “officially” revealed. Eminem has indeed returned to the studio and is currently in the process of writing and recording his long-awaited fifth studio album.

Though Eminem’s planned return has been common knowledge for some time, the acclaimed rapper recently confirmed the news during LL Cool J’s radio program.

Details remain sketchy, though it is expected to see a release before the end of the year.

Eminem, whose real name is Marshall Mathers and also goes by the name Slim Shady, was invented to perform at Nelson Mandela’s birthday party, but he didn’t show up.

Does Eminem really need a comeback? He never stopped selling millions of albums.

    • Producer's Corner: Mr. Porter

2006 was a year that Detroit and Hip-hop suffered losses which to this day remain unfathomable. One man who lost not only his bandmate but two of his closest friends was Denaun Porter.

Kon Artist or Mr. Porter, depending on which hat he is adorning at the time is a man that has absorbed the loss of his brethren, he will never come to terms with it, but in this interview with HipHopDX, you get the distinct impression that he has, since their passing, been laced with nitro. Focused and determined to make sure he does his part for Hip Hop and his home town he has been keeping busy.

Executive producing possibly one of the most acclaimed albums of 2007, Pharohe Monch’s Desire and allowing up and coming artists the chance to spit over his beats through his online portal MrPorter.com, this producer/rapper/fan/webmaster and self proclaimed student is still enjoying wearing his vast array of hats like he was back when he first started out, the only difference being that those hats are more custom made today. Well when you have achieved the success he has that is inevitable.

Talking beats, brothers lost, battles of a political nature and that five letter word that is often thought of as ‘the’ urban legend within Hip-Hop…Detox, this is how life is for one of the most promising producers in the game today.

This is not at all what we were expecting from the “retired” rapper. Eminem who has been writing songs and working on a comeback, and I say that every so lightly because I think the heavyweight rapper (no pun intended) will be welcomed back by most with open arms.
