"Heather Mills' bugging, lies and latex gloves"
"Rock legend Paul McCartney was the victim of a vicious smear campaign by scheming ex Heather Mills in her divorce battle for his cash.
Last night her closest PR aide Michele Elyzabeth sensationally admitted: “That witch tricked me into spreading LIES about Paul. She’s a bitch!”
We expose Mills’ outrageous dirty tricks campaign against rock legend McCartney.
Top publicist and manager Elyzabeth spent four years championing the ex-porn star and defended her throughout the couple’s multi-million pound divorce battle.
But last night she confessed: “Heather is a calculating, pathological liar and the biggest bitch on the planet. She not only misled me, she misled the entire world.
“At one stage we were so close I viewed her as the daughter I never had. Today I think of her as the witch I wish I’d never met.”
Hollywood public relations executive Michele, 58, quit working for Mills—dubbed Mucca for her seedy past—just six weeks ago when she finally realised she too had been betrayed. In fury she told us how 40-year-old Heather:
* LEAKED false stories to blacken husband Paul’s name.
* BUGGED his private chats in a bid to dig dirt.
* VOWED to DESTROY the former Beatle.
* TRICKED the world into thinking she’d been dumped penniless but secretly...
* BANKED £3million from her estranged hubby while dodging bills and blagging freebies.
* DECEIVED the public over how much she gave to charity."

Israel, after 43 years, is ready for Beatlemania
In 1965, when Israel had no television, and public entertainment consisted largely of kibbutz songfests celebrating the wheat harvest, the Beatles, already international celebrities, were booked for a concert here. To young Israeli fans, it seemed an impossible dream.
And so it was. The official permission required to withdraw precious foreign currency to pay the band was denied because a ministerial committee feared the corrupting influence of four long-haired Englishmen singing about pleasure.
As the committee report put it, "The Beatles have an insufficient artistic level and cannot add to the spiritual and cultural life of the youth in Israel."
Since then, especially in recent years, Israel has expressed embarrassment about the episode and tried to make amends. Last January, it sent a letter from its London embassy to the remaining Beatles, Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr, asking forgiveness for the "missed opportunity" to have the band that "shaped the minds of a generation, to come to Israel and perform before the young generation in Israel who admired you and continues to admire you." The artists were asked to consider again coming to perform.
There was little progress until recently, but now McCartney has been booked for a huge outdoor concert in Tel Aviv on Sept. 25. And nearly everything about the event — the $8 million price tag borne by a high-flying Israeli financier who expects to turn a profit, the tickets selling for hundreds of dollars that are being gobbled up through Internet sales, indeed its very existence — is a parable of a nation transformed In 1965, when Israel had no television, and public entertainment consisted largely of kibbutz songfests celebrating the wheat harvest,... more -

Mark David Chapman in a mug shot just after his December 1980 arrest.
The New York State Division of Parole issued a release saying Chapman's request was denied "due to concern for the public safety and welfare."
Chapman, 53, is serving a sentence of 20 years to life in prison for shooting to death the former Beatle outside his New York City apartment on December 8, 1980.
The killer has served 24 years of his sentence at the maximum-security Attica Correctional Facility and was previously turned down by the New York State division of parole in 2000, 2002, 2004 and 2006.
Chapman is held in a building with other prisoners who are not considered to pose a threat to him, according to officials with the state Department of Correctional Services. He has his own prison cell but spends most of his day outside the cell working on housekeeping and in the library.
For the past 16 years he has received conjugal visits with his wife, Gloria. The visits are part of a state program called "family reunion" that allows inmates to spend up to 44 hours at a time with family members in a special setting.
inmates must meet certain criteria to receive the privilege. Chapman has not had an infraction since 1994, said Erik Kriss, spokesman for the Department of Corrections.
Yoko Ono, Lennon's widow, in previous years has submitted a letter requesting that Chapman be denied parole. Calls Tuesday to Ono's legal representative have not been returned.
Fifty letters and a petition signed by almost 1,100 people were submitted objecting to releasing Chapman, said Division of Parole spokeswoman Heather Groll. Only three letters were submitted appealing for Chapman's release.
The next time Chapman can apply for parole is in August 2010 John Lennon's killer, Mark David Chapman, was denied parole for the fifth time Tuesday. ... more -

Paul and Ringo stop 'Let It Be' film release
Sir Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr have stopped the release of Beatles film 'Let It Be'.
The 1970 documentary reveals tensions between the Fab Four - Paul, Ringo and the late John Lennon and George Harrison - shortly before their break-up, and insiders at the band's record company, Apple, claim the two surviving members do not want it re-released.
A source said: "There has been talk of 'Let It Be' finally being released but now there has been a change of heart. The Beatles are still a massive global brand and it's felt it won't be helped if the public sees the darker side of the story.
Neither Paul nor Ringo would feel comfortable publicising a film showing The Beatles getting on each other's nerves."
The film was directed by Michael Lindsay-Hogg and shows the group recording the album of the same name, which eventually became their final studio release.
The group's internal relations were at an all-time low during the making of the LP and recording sessions were fraught with internal squabbles.
George Harrison took exception to Paul criticising his guitar playing, while John Lennon appeared disinterested during the entire process - preferring to spend his time with his wife Yoko Ono.
Although the LP was their final release, the group were so disappointed with 'Let It Be' they recorded masterpiece 'Abbey Road' afterwards and released it before the much-maligned record.
The source added to Britain's Daily Express newspaper: "People like to imagine The Beatles were a happy ship but the reality towards the end was very different as this film shows. There's all sorts of extra footage showing more squabbles but it's unlikely it will ever see the light of day in Paul and Ringo's lifetime." Sir Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr have stopped the release of Beatles film 'Let It Be'. ... more -
Unreleased Beatles recording discovered in attic

Sir Paul McCartney set to rock Israel birthday gig
Sir Paul McCartney is set to make pop history by playing his first gig in Israel, 43 years after the Beatles were banned from performing in the country.
In 1965 McCartney, 66, and his fellow Beatles were turned away by Israel's then education minister, David Zarzevski, who thought that a show by the band might corrupt the minds of the nation's youth.
However earlier this year, Israel's ambassador to Britan sent apology letters to McCartney and drummer Ringo Starr - as well as the relatives of deceased Beatles George Harrison and John Lennon - inviting them to play as part of the country's 60th birthday celebrations.
Ron Prosor, apologised for the "misunderstanding" and wrote: "There is no doubt that it was a great missed opportunity to prevent people like you, who shaped the minds of the generation, to come to Israel and perform."

Lennon 'Peace' lyrics sell at auction for $800,000
When Gail Renard of Montreal met John Lennon and his wife Yoko Ono during their "Bed-In Protest For Peace" at Montreal's Queen Elizabeth Hotel, she never expected to be given such a peace of rock history. After interviewing the couple for her high school newspaper, Renard was given a handwritten piece of paper with the lyrics to "Give Peace A Chance" as a thank you gift. Thirty nine years later, she sold the lyrics for $833,654CDN at Christie's Auction on July 11th.
Christie's spokeswoman Zoe Schoon claimed that "Lennon gave the sheet to [16-year-old] Gail Renard during the eight-day Bed-In."
This is not the first piece of Beatles memorabilia to be sold this week, a drum featured on the cover of The Beatles' "Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band" album has sold for over £500,000 at auction. A champagne bottle with all of the Beatles signatures scrawled across it also sold at auction for a staggering £7,500. The bottle was used as a prop in the Beatles "Strawberry Fields Forever" promotional film, released in 1967. 20 bands who need to go the f*** away now
OK, we don't necessarily agree with this list, but this article is f***ing hilarious. It goes from #1 ...
"Coldplay
Following the trail blazed by Klaus Nomi, Yanni and John Tesh, this band is what happens when your only records are ELO and latter-career Elton John and you misheard the few good parts of those. Uh, Mr. Paltrow, we know you’re rich and you look like you were rich before you were famous so quit dressing like an updated Artful Dodger. God invented the electric guitar so we didn’t have to listen to stuffy Europhiles saw away on those hideous violins and cellos, but you have forsworn God’s plan for rock ‘n’ roll and now we cast you out. Away."
... to #20:
"The Beatles
The seminal blight on the history of rock-and-roll since their fey little asses came skipping out of whatever grotesquely verdant, throbbing and respiring pod spawned them back in Liverpool. Their second record, With the Beatles (1963), is rife with unabashed emasculations and mal-renderings of milestone R&B hits and signaled the beginning of a decade of serial brazen mockery, especially with their injustice to Barrett Strong’s “Money (That’s What I Want).” The Beatles were to rock-n-roll what Enron was to the working man. They were arrogant, elitist, dilettantes who–even though now diminished by half–just won’t go away. Well boys, the Devil’s here and he’s got a past due notice for what’s left of your hollow, wheezy souls. Once and for all, Go Away!"
