Amy Winehouse has been immortalized by Madame Tussauds in Wax
The singer's parents, Mitch and Janis, unveiled their daughter's wax figure at Madame Tussauds London on Wednesday, with her father calling its likeness "perfection."
Starpulse has something else to say about it...
Singer Amy Winehouse is unimpressed she has been immortalized in wax at London's Madame Tussauds Museum - reportedly branding the idea "crap".
The Back to Black hitmaker admits she was unavailable for a sitting for the waxwork, so the museum has crafted the statue from photographs.
But Winehouse was surprised to learn she would feature in the museum at all. She tells British magazine New!, "I thought you had to be dead almost before they made a wax of you."

Blake Fielder-Civil, the husband of English singer Amy Winehouse, has been jailed for 27 months; He addmitted to beating up a pub landlord in a fight in 2006, then offering him £200,000 to keep quiet.
Quite how this, admittedly fair, ruling will take it's toll on Winehouse's obviously already fragile state of mind, is very obvious. Blake Fielder-Civil, the husband of English singer Amy Winehouse, has been jailed for 27 months; He addmitted to beating up a pub land... more -

£1m for Amy Winehouse to play at your pad?
£3.5m for the Stones, with Rod Stewart and Robbie Williams come at £1m each. In the old days, private gigs were the remit of tribute bands and the has-been star down on his luck, with a mortgage to pay and various kids to support. But as record sales decline, touring costs rise and downloads are worth two a penny, an oligarch's knees-up or a footballer's wedding is now an acceptable way for any Grammy award-winning star to line their pockets. £3.5m for the Stones, with Rod Stewart and Robbie Williams come at £1m each. Amy Winehouse punches fan
Amy performed on Glastonbury's Pyramid stage last night drawing some of the biggest crowds the stage has ever seen with an estimated 75,000 people in attendance, towards the end of her set, when performing down in front of the crowd she appeared to lash out and punch one of her fans. Her spokesman says it was because they tugged at her beehive!?!
Amy's tantrum was followed by a set from Jay Z who gave a triumphant performance to win over critics who said he should not have been booked to headline the festival. He included a rendition of Oasis's 'Wonderwall', a nod to Noel Gallagher who was a vocal critic of the rapper's appearance. See it here ...

20 bands who need to go the f*** away now
OK, we don't necessarily agree with this list, but this article is f***ing hilarious. It goes from #1 ...
"Coldplay
Following the trail blazed by Klaus Nomi, Yanni and John Tesh, this band is what happens when your only records are ELO and latter-career Elton John and you misheard the few good parts of those. Uh, Mr. Paltrow, we know you’re rich and you look like you were rich before you were famous so quit dressing like an updated Artful Dodger. God invented the electric guitar so we didn’t have to listen to stuffy Europhiles saw away on those hideous violins and cellos, but you have forsworn God’s plan for rock ‘n’ roll and now we cast you out. Away."
... to #20:
"The Beatles
The seminal blight on the history of rock-and-roll since their fey little asses came skipping out of whatever grotesquely verdant, throbbing and respiring pod spawned them back in Liverpool. Their second record, With the Beatles (1963), is rife with unabashed emasculations and mal-renderings of milestone R&B hits and signaled the beginning of a decade of serial brazen mockery, especially with their injustice to Barrett Strong’s “Money (That’s What I Want).” The Beatles were to rock-n-roll what Enron was to the working man. They were arrogant, elitist, dilettantes who–even though now diminished by half–just won’t go away. Well boys, the Devil’s here and he’s got a past due notice for what’s left of your hollow, wheezy souls. Once and for all, Go Away!"
