Radio Therapy
Colifata Radio is a small station in Argentina, but it has something that makes it unique. This radio station is run by the inmates of a local psychiatric hospital. Colifata -which means "crazy" in Lunfardo, a local slang- was founded by psychologist Alfredo Olivera in an attempt to support people who are mentally challenged. Smoke cloud engulfs Argentine capital for 5th day
BUENOS AIRES, April 19 (Reuters) - A thick cloud of smoke covered Buenos Aires for a fifth day on Saturday, the fallout of field burning that has forced the closure of highways, flight delays and traffic congestion.
The smoke started to appear over the Argentine capital more than a week ago, but visibility deteriorated considerably in the city on Friday and Saturday, with an acrid smell pervading homes and causing watery eyes and sore throats among city residents.
Visibility downtown was barely 500 yards (metres).
Emergency services marshaled traffic in some areas of the city, while the capital's domestic airport Jorge Newbery diverted incoming aircraft to the international airport outside Buenos Aires -- where the smoke also caused some flight departure delays.
The dense smoke along highways in rural areas north of Buenos Aires caused traffic accidents that killed at least nine people, officials said on Friday.
Health officials sought to reassure the public that the smoke was not toxic, saying the material burnt was organic. However the municipality of Buenos Aires issued a "yellow alert" as a precaution. Buenos Aires shrouded in smoke - government and farmers play the blame game
Argentine President Cristina Fernandez has described as "irresponsible" farmers blamed for fires that have left a blanket of smoke across Buenos Aires.
The fires from burning scrubland near the capital have disrupted air and road travel and smoke has spread across the River Plate to Montevideo, Uruguay.
The government accused the farmers of setting the fires off to clear pasture.
Farmers rejected the charge, saying it was designed to distract attention from a row over tax rises on farm exports.
Roads, airports and ports have been closed and Buenos Aires residents, complaining of breathing difficulties and problems with their eyes, are closing their windows and staying indoors.
The smell of burning is everywhere, the BBC's Daniel Schweimler reports from the city.

No-Tell Hotel
What's a 20-something Argentine to do if they score at a bar and live with their parents? In Buenos Aires, there's only one obvious solutiona "telo" ("Hotel" in Lunfardo slang). As sketchy as a rent-by-the-hour hotel may sound to the outside observer, telos are quite normal and widely accepted in Buenos Aires. Since most young people live with their parents until they're married (especially since after the economic crisis), and even married couples occasionally need some privacy from their kids, these discreet and cheap establishments are a perfect solution. In greater BsAs there are 800 such places, varying from bare bones to absolute luxury, and even themed telos in which you can choose from exciting room options like "Egyptian Fantasy" and "Space Odyssey". Here we talk to the Argentine youth about their thoughts, fantasies, and experiences in these telos and, of course, take an inside tour.
