Pickers
Clement buys used books at auctions, estate sales and book fairs, only to resell some to make ends meet. He is a picker.
Joseph owns a bookstore and deals with pickers regularly to replenish his shelves. He is a former picker.
“pickers” offers a glimpse into these charmingly awkward collectors' lives, as they wax poetic about the old days, literature, sex… and each other.

Southern Backtones at Sugarhill Studios Tape Vault
This is not your typical indie rock. The Southern Backtones are an exciting blend of raw brit-influenced rock with roots planted firmly in Texas. A southwestern feel reminiscent of Morrison and The Doors with an edge akin to early eighties brit-rock powerhouses a la The Cult and David Bowie.
After spending their musical childhood on the surf-punk playground, the Southern Backtones grew up quickly only to rebel against their roots rock heritage.
A mellowing of their roots-angst, and embracing Brit-pop and psychedelia influences, transitioned their music to a darker, more bohemian sound.
