5.6K RUN
"Most Creative" Gorilla Contest 10:30am
The Denver Gorilla Run is a charity fun run with a difference. Everyone who takes part wears a full gorilla costume - from fluffy head to furry toe - and helps raise funds for the Mountain Gorilla Conservation Fund, the international charity working to save the world's last remaining mountain gorillas and keeping Dian Fossey’s dream alive for the past 23 years.
You can run, jog, walk, rollerblade or skateboard around the 5.6K route that weaves its way around the City of Denver, Colorado. Or if you like, you can do it gorilla style: on all fours!
With your entry, we will provide the gorilla suit (which you may keep afterwards), the spectators, t-shirt and all kinds of entertainment. All you have to do is get registered, be assigned to a gorilla team, get fit and have some fun!
Every participant in The Denver Gorilla Run will represent a group of real live gorillas in the wild. You will be assigned to either the Amahoro Group, Mubare Group, Sabinyo Group or the Rushegura Group - so with limited entries available you must register soon to secure your place.

Clinton slams Democratic activists at private fundraiser
Hillary sounds like Liebermann to me. He's no longer a Democrat. He's actually campaigning with McCain. Didn't Hillary state, 'She and McCain are the most qualified?' Maybe she was too tired to remember which party she represents?
At a small closed-door fundraiser after Super Tuesday, Sen. Hillary Clinton blamed what she called the "activist base" of the Democratic Party -- and MoveOn.org in particular -- for many of her electoral defeats, saying activists had "flooded" state caucuses and "intimidated" her supporters, according to an audio recording of the event obtained by The Huffington Post.
"Moveon.org endorsed [Sen. Barack Obama] -- which is like a gusher of money that never seems to slow down," Clinton said to a meeting of donors. "We have been less successful in caucuses because it brings out the activist base of the Democratic Party. MoveOn didn't even want us to go into Afghanistan. I mean, that's what we're dealing with. And you know they turn out in great numbers. And they are very driven by their view of our positions, and it's primarily national security and foreign policy that drives them. I don't agree with them. They know I don't agree with them. So they flood into these caucuses and dominate them and really intimidate people who actually show up to support me."

Box Tops for Education
Box Tops for Education helps kids. While each box top is only worth 10¢, add 'em all up and you got some good chunks of change for the kids to go on field trips, get gym equipment, library books and all that good stuff. In addition to clipping box tops from participating products, you can sign up and when you purchase things from certain stores, a percentage of your money goes to the school of your choice. The stores and products are pretty varied and definitely worth checking out. I bet you have some in your house or here at work. I bet you already buy stuff from some of the stores.
My daughter goes to Sunnyside Elementary in San Francisco if you'd like to help her school out. If her class brings in the most in a month, they get a party. Sometimes it's ice cream, some times cup cakes. They really take pride in being the best and getting the party. Box Tops for Education helps kids.
