Man blows up apartment spraying for bugs
I always wondered when something like this would happen. Those fumes are flammable.
A New Jersey man trying to exterminate insects in his apartment blew it up instead, the New York Daily News reported on Monday.
Isias Vidal Maceda was unhurt in the incident, but 80 percent of his apartment was destroyed, Eatontown, New Jersey police told the newspaper.
The accident occurred as Maceda was spraying for pests in his kitchen. Somehow the bug spray ignited a blast that blew out the apartment's front windows and triggered a fire that quickly spread, the newspaper said. Police taser naked man 3 times
Officers were dispatched to the area of 28th Street and Iris Avenue at about 10:30 p.m. Wednesday on a report of a nude man who was rolling around in the street. When they arrived, they found Christopher Dornfield crawling on a nearby patch of grass, police said.
When Dornfield refused to comply with officers’ orders to hold still, he was shot with a Taser. He was shocked twice more after he tried to get back on his feet and advanced toward officers, police said.
The incident began Wednesday when Dornfield split a hit of acid with one of his friends, 22-year-old Boulder resident Brian Skutch, and went “out of control,” another one of his friends told police.
According to the report, Dornfield’s friends tried to calm him down by taking him for a drive after he became agitated. When Dornfield jumped out of the car and took off his shoes and pants, his friends wrestled him back inside.
A short while later, according to police, Dornfield hit Jacob Ottenstein, his roommate, in the face. At that point, the group decided to call police and kick Dornfield back out of the car, leaving him alone at about 28th Street and Iris Avenue.
They must have good acid in Colorado.
I posted this article because I think the police used excessive force shocking the guy 3 times.
They could have killed him. He was trippin, and didn't know what was happening.

Being too fat can damage sperm
Obese men have poorer quality sperm, perhaps because too much fat around their testicles causes them to heat up, scientists have suggested.
University of Aberdeen researchers looked at the sperm of over 2,000 men in couples having problems conceiving. The heaviest men had a higher proportion of abnormal sperm, as well as other problems.
The men were divided into four groups, according to their BMI (body mass index). Other factors which could affect fertility, such as smoking, high alcohol use and age, were taken into account by the researchers. Men who had a healthy BMI of 20 to 25 were had higher levels of normal sperm than those who were heavier. They also had higher semen volume, the European Society for Human Reproduction and Embryology meeting in Barcelona was told. But those with a higher BMI had lower volumes of seminal fluid, and a higher proportion of abnormal sperm. There was no significant difference between the four groups in sperm concentration or activity.
Dr Ghiyath Shayeb, who led the research, said: "Our findings were quite independent of any other factors and seem to suggest that men who are trying for a baby with their partners, should first try to achieve an ideal body weight.
Dr Shayeb said there were a number of possible explanations, including different hormone levels in obese men, overheating of the testicles caused by excessive fat in the area, or simply the lifestyle and diet that leads to obesity also causing poorer semen quality.

Pregnant man gives birth to baby girl
Infamous pregnant transgender man Thomas Beatie, 34, gave birth to a health baby girl on Sunday. According to a source, Beatie gave birth naturally and reports that he had a caesarean section are false.
Beatie was born female, but has been living as a man for several years and has legally changed his gender from female to male. He has also had his breasts surgically removed and has taken hormones in order to aid the transition process. However, having kept his female reproductive organs, he decided to give birth after it became evident that his wife, Nancy, was not able to have any more biological children. He was impregnated with sperm from an anonymous donor.
Beatie made headlines when first pictures of the 'pregnant man' appeared in April. Involuntary sex change: man is naturally turning into a woman against his will
Terry Wright, 60, is turning into a woman due to abnormally high levels of the female hormone oestrogen. Medical experts are intrigued by the unique case, but are unable to explain or reverse the sexual transformation.
About ten years ago, Wright, who has five children and works as a pub singer in Birmingham, noticed that he was losing his hair and beard. Since then, he has developed smooth skin and breasts and has complained about hot flushes. Wright, who has never doubted his male gender identity, has been wrongly suspected of secretly trying to change his sex and has been offered a sex change operation by his GP, which he refused.
Some intersex conditions are associated with involuntary and natural sexual transformations, but these changes usually take place during puberty. Mr Wright states: "Doctors call me an 'interesting case' and 'unique' but I just want to go back to being a proper man."

For the past few months, I’ve been having my haircut at various barbershops. For most of my life, I went to unisex salons that reeked of perm chemicals and mousse. Every time I’d go, I’d walk away with a bad haircut. On top of that, I always felt out of place. Most of the clients were usually women and a woman was cutting my hair. I’d just go in, sit there silently while the person cut my hair, and leave.
I don’t know why I stopped going to a barbershop. As a child, I went to a barbershop on the main street in my hometown. It was called “The Friendly Barbershop.” I remember being fascinated with all the barber stuff. What I remember most though, was the distinct manliness of the place.
