Teen Charged With Sending Nude Pics of Herself
A 15-year-old Ohio girl faces felony charges and may have to register as a sex offender for allegedly taking nude photos of herself and sending them to her high school classmates.
The girl, whose name has not been released, was arrested last week and charged in juvenile court with possessing criminal tools and the illegal use of a minor in nudity-oriented material, said Licking County, Ohio, prosecutor Ken Oswalt.
Her alleged actions are part of what some in law enforcement say is a growing problem around the country.
During a court appearance this week, the teen denied the charges, according to Oswalt. The girl attends Licking Valley High School in the town of Newark. Her lawyer declined to comment.
"There's a totally false perception among juveniles that there is no risk to this," Oswalt told ABCNews.com. "That picture, once taken and sent, gives anyone who receives it the ability to do anything with it, forever. If a picture of you found its way onto the Internet, that's going to haunt you, potentially forever." Teen robbed by topless blondes
A Florida teenager claims he was attacked and robbed by four topless blonde women on his way to work.
Olmer Morales, 18, told police the attack happened as he rode his bike to work one morning in Stuart, Martin County.
A heavy-set blonde woman wearing a white long sleeved shirt and overalls stopped him by grabbing his handle bars, according to the police report.
Four thinner blonde-haired women, all wearing overalls with no shirts and no bras, then surrounded him and stole the $100 (£56) in his back pocket, Mr Morales told deputies.

'While I'm all for women breaking free of a gender stereotype,' adds Tello. 'I'm concerned that we are moving into a permanent spot in the other end of the spectrum: vicious raging bitches'
In her Wall Street article, entitled Lipstick Jungle, Ashley Samelson talked about college females this way:
'What shocked me more than anything...was the way women treated other women,' says Samelson.
'I regularly heard young women refer to each other using the most obscene and degrading insults. I observed females encouraging others to binge drink and then berating those who couldn't hold their liquor. At breakfast on the weekends, I often overheard young women discussing their shame after feeling pressured by their girlfriends to participate in a degrading activity, such as a lingerie-themed or "secretaries and bosses" party.'
Adding -- 'nearly every instance of female misery I encountered at Tufts seemed to be instigated initially by another woman.'
For clues to this trend Samelson points to that Koren Zailckas book -- "Smashed: Story of a Drunken Girlhood" (2005) -- who -- 'sets a scene of young women at that upstate school not only encouraging one another to drink to the point of illness or blackout as a way to forge friendships but also competing with one another to be the most sexually adventurous.'

Teen fatally shot on CTA bus
A woman who held her dying cousin's hand after she was shot on a South Side CTA bus says a gunman fired into the bus after getting into a minor argument with another passenger.
Kiyanna Salter, 17, was on her way home with her 18-year-old cousin after visiting an aunt when she was gunned down at about 10 p.m. Sunday on the No. 71 bus at 7100 S. Woodlawn, relatives said.
A passenger touched the hand of another and the two began arguing, according to Salter's cousin, Jasmine Wilcox. One of the men left and fired through an open door, striking Salter in the eye. Wilcox said she held her cousin's hand and kept hoping she would wake up.
Police say Salter was not the intended target. Officers were reviewing the bus' surveillance camera and canvassing the area for witnesses.
Salter was a senior at Julian High School and had wanted to be a doctor. She loved dancing and liked to play basketball, according to relatives.
A woman who identified herself as Kiyanna's aunt said the 17-year-old stayed with her so she could attend Julian, and she rode the bus regularly.

Baby sitter arrested after tot shoots 8-year-old
A teenager has been arrested after he left a group of children alone and a toddler accidentally shot an 8-year-old girl in the left leg, Miami police said Monday.
Trevaris Brown, 18, charged with child neglect, is free on $7,500 bond.
According to police, Brown told Miami Detective Fernando Bosch that he was baby sitting a group of children ranging from 1 to 10 years old Saturday night at 5930 NW First Ave. He admitted ``he left the children home alone and went to the store.''

Squirt-Gun Game Leads To Hospitalizations
A game popular with teens across the country has led to several crashes in suburban Hartford in the past several days, police said.
The objective of "Squirt-Gun Assassin" is to shoot an intended target with a water gun -- the last man standing wins a prize.
Police said in the past several days, several Connecticut teens have played the game while driving, leading to three crashes.
Wethersfield High School junior Janelly Gonzalez told Eyewitness News that the game has become a tradition at the school.
"They keep knocking people out and the last man standing wins the game," she said. "They were playing Assassin, it got really serious. There were squirt guns and a truck drove into someone's house and they ended up in the hospital."
Wethersfield Police Chief James Cetran said that in all, three crashes have been associated with the game. He said his department has responded to half-a-dozen calls this week because of Assassin, and in one case a teen was attempting to get away from his water gun attacker.
"They cut in front of a poor unsuspecting motorist and two people were taken to the hospital, including a student. At least one of those accidents they drove in front of a poor unsuspecting woman and two people were taken to the hospital, including the woman," he said.
Cetran said that in another case, students engaged in an argument with a homeowner.

29 arrested in drug raid at Sydney dance party
Police have charged 29 people with drug offenses after a raid on a dance party in Sydney overnight.
Officers targeted the Transmission Dance Party, seizing almost 300 ecstasy pills and other drugs.
Drug dogs were used outside the venue to catch party goers trying to take drugs inside.
Police say the operation was targeting drug dealers.
