Holocaust denier detained at London's Heathrow airport
German-born Australian national Dr. Gerald Fredrick Toben, 64, was detained at London's Heathrow Airport by the London police extradition unit using an EU arrest warrant issued by German authorities, the United Kingdom's Daily Telegraph reported on Wednesday.
The founder of the Adelaide Institute, a publication that questions the Holocaust, Toben is accused of publishing material on the internet "of an anti-Semitic and/or revisionist nature" that "denies, approves of or plays down the mass murder of Jews by the Nazis".
The arrest warrant alleges that Dr Toben committed the offence in Australia, Germany and other countries.
In a disclaimer on his website, Dr Toben writes of his work: "If you wish to begin to doubt the Holocaust-Shoah narrative, you must be prepared for personal sacrifice, must be prepared for marriage and family break-up, loss of career, and go to prison."
"This is because Revisionists are, among other things, dismantling a massive multi-billion dollar industry that the Holocaust-Shoah enforcers are defending, as well as the survival of Zionist-racist Israel." German romeo stages kidnap to win love
A German banker aapparently staged the kidnap of a colleague - and then feigned a rescue so she'd fall for him.
Tom Mueller, 36, from Eisingen, was desperate for his 30-year-old colleague to fancy him but thought he didn't stand a chance.
Police say he broke into Tanja Schulze's home in the middle of the night and told her that he was the boss of a ruthless kidnap gang.
Wearing a mask and speaking English to disguise his voice, Mueller allegedly tied her up and put a bag on her head while he ransacked her home for four hours.
Then he rang the doorbell, ripped off his mask, and rushed into the house to rescue her claiming he'd frightened off the gang.

German chancellor Merkel: 'I wish I could be a gymnast'
In an interview with a woman's magazine German chancellor Angela Merkel, 54, said she wished she could be a gymnast and conquer the art of turning and leaping on the beam.
"I wish I could do gymnastics on the balance beam," she told Frau im Spiegel, adding that she would also like to brush up her French and study law. But before her critics were able to weigh in and question Merkel's suitability for gymnastics - her sporting prowess, by her own admission, stretches just to walking, cross-country skiing and gardening - she added: "I have long ago come to terms with the fact that it is not my forte."
Merkel, who was voted the most powerful woman in the world for the second time by Forbes magazine last month, has admitted in the past that she was often terrified of sports lessons, especially jumping and gymnastics. Feeling car sick? Blame the bacteria
LONDON (Reuters Life!) - If a man's home is his castle then maybe his car is his rubbish bin, with a study finding the typical car has 283 different types of bacteria present in every square centimeter (square inch).
Microbiologists from Britain's Aston University found the dirtiest part of the vehicle was the gear stick, home to 356 germs on a square centimeter, while one car boot in a random survey of 25 cars had 850 bacteria in a square centimeter.
Drivers with children and pets were found to host a greater number and range of bacteria in their cars with, in one instance, bacterial traces of excrement found in the boot of the car where the weekly food shopping was regularly placed.
"Whilst most of the bacteria we've found are unlikely to cause serious health problems, some cars, particularly those which regularly carry children and animals, play host to potentially harmful germs," said Anthony Hilton, director of Biology and Biomedical Science, at Aston University.
"People would be horrified at the thought of eating off their toilet seat, but few realize eating off their car dashboard is just as likely to make them sick," he added in a statement.
The study, conducted for insurance.co.uk, found British motorists spend more than three years of their life behind the wheel and over a quarter eat there every week.
One in four of 1,376 car owners polled said their car is littered with food wrappers and empty drink bottles, while one in six admitted to regularly leaving uneaten food in their vehicle.
Half of the drivers admitted the standard of cleanliness in their car left much to be desired and they would never let their home get into the same condition. The study also found a strong correlation between the mileage of the car and the bacterial and fungal air quality. Girl gang pounces on foreign students
A gang of girls attacked a pair of foreign students just days after the visitors arrived in Britain, the Brighton Argus reports.
The German women were assaulted by three teenage girls as they walked home.
Tonight police condemned the violent youngsters and said they were determined to catch them.
The two students were walking when they were approached by a girl of 13 or 14 who accused them of laughing at the British girls. One of the Germans had a hair clip pulled from her hair which was then stamped on by one of the girls.
The two students ran off but they were chased and attacked again. One of the students was kicked in the back and the other was spat at.
Police were called but the attackers had escaped by the time they arrived. Officers say the victims have been left very shaken.

Robin Hood Junior: Boy,7, nicks grandmother's credit card to buy candy
A seven-year-old German boy helped himself to his grandmother's bank account to indulge his sweet tooth and to hand out money.
The boy nicked his 80-year-old grandmother's credit card and took out €500 ($778) from her account, making five withdrawals in less than an hour until the withdrawal limit had been reached. Having bought some sweets, he did not know what to do with the money and generously distributed the bank notes among his playmates.
The police explained he had learned to use a bank machine by frequently accompanying his grandmother on shopping trips.
What led to the boy's capture was his own generosity: when his friends told their parents about the money they had received, the latter immediately alerted the police. Once questioned, the boy immediately confessed to his juvenile crime and apologized. He then returned the left-over cash - roughly half of the amount he had withdrawn - which he had kept in his piggy bank.
The boy told police officers that "he wanted to get money out of the machine and go shopping just like his grandmother." And when his grandmother handed money to other people, the boy said, "they were always so happy." Belgian King Wants to Try Again - Leterme's Resignation Rejected
Earlier this week, Belgian Prime Minister Yves Leterme offered to resign. But on Thursday evening, King Albert II asked him to stay on for one last try to solve the country's political crisis.
As recently as Tuesday, Belgian Prime Minister Yves Leterme had thought he was out of a job (more...). But on Thursday evening, Belgium's King Albert II decided against accepting Leterme's letter of resignation and asked three other senior politicians to explore ways to solve the ongoing crisis that threatens to break the 177-year-old country apart.
Leterme had offered to quit after failing to solve an ongoing dispute between parties from either side of Belgium's linguistic divide. He said in his letter that "communities' conflicting visions of how to give a new equilibrium to our state have become incompatible" and that the "federal model has reached its limit."
King Albert II, however, wants politicians representing the country's 6.5 million Dutch speakers and 4 million French speakers to try again. "The king has refused to accept the resignation of the government and has asked the government to promote the chances of success of this mission as much as possible," the palace said in a statement issued to the media.
The king has also appointed two senior Francophone politicians Francois Xavier de Donnea and Raymond Langendries along with Karl-Heinz Lambertz, who leads Belgium's small German-speaking community, to try and find a way out of the country's political dead-end.
