Brangelina twins are on their way: Angelina Jolie in hospital to give birth
CNN reports that Angelina Jolie, 33, has gone into a hospital in the south of France where she expects to give birth to twins fathered by partner Brad Pitt.
According to a spokesperson at the Santa Maria maternity clinic, Jolie has checked into the hospital in order to be kept under doctors' surveillance and to get some rest before the birth. The birth does not seem to be imminent and everything is going well. Jolie is expected to remain in the hospital until she has given birth.

Angelina Jolie is hoping for a natural birth this time around. She was disappointed when she had to get a C-section with her daughter, Shiloh.
A source said: “She prepared for a natural childbirth for Shiloh and was very disappointed when her doctors told her she would have to undergo a Caesarean section. She is praying everything will go her way and she will be able to enjoy a natural birth.
“She has been told to expect the babies early, and that is why she and Brad have gone to France - so they are ready for their babies whenever they decide to make their appearance.”

Conflicting reports about Jolie birth
Has the Brangelina brood increased by two? There were conflicting reports Friday about the impending birth of Angelina Jolie's twins.
Angelina Jolie responds to questions at the "Kung Fu Panda" after-party while at Cannes earlier in May.
"Entertainment Tonight" reported that the actress had given birth in France. The story, posted on the TV show's Web site, cited a "source close to Jolie."
People magazine followed with a story quoting "a rep for the actress" as saying that Jolie "has not given birth."
Representatives for Jolie and her companion, Brad Pitt, did not respond to phone and e-mail requests from The Associated Press.

The couple known as Brangelina has four other children: 6-year-old Maddox, 4-year-old Pax and 3-year-old Zahara, who are adopted, and 2-year-old Shiloh.
The pair recently moved into the Miraval Estate villa in the French hamlet of Correns, in the Provence region, according to the mayor and the inn's owner.
"They are people who I hope will live normally here," Mayor Michael Latz told The Associated Press.
Security guards were blocking the gates to the estate Friday, while a postal truck and other maintenance vehicles regularly passed in and out.
Onno Stijl, owner of the L'Auberge du Parc inn, said it was a good thing they were moving in and could help business. He said he gets his wine from the estate's vineyards.
"It's a couple living here now like everyone," he said by telephone.
The area, he said, "is a bit isolated but that gives it a certain ... privacy."
According to its Web site, the Miraval estate dates from pre-Roman times. It includes fountains, aqueducts, moats, a lake and vineyards that produce an organic wine distributed worldwide.
Pitt and Jolie may be Miraval's first movie stars in residence, but Miraval has seen its share of rock stars. The estate includes a studio that has hosted the likes of Sting, the Cranberries and Pink Floyd, who recorded tracks for "The Wall" album there.

Jude Law Tears Himself Away From Kimberly's Face For The Day After Peace Premiere
Jude Law did his bit for world peace yesterday (Monday May 19), attending the premiere of The Day After Peace, a documentary he worked on with filmmaker pal Jeremy Gilley.
Gilley, the founder of the Peace One Day organization, successfully lobbied world leaders and the United Nations General Assembly, who in 2001, with resolution A/Res/55/282, established an annual day of global ceasefire and non-violence on September 21. Gilley documented his journey towards Peace Day in the 1999 film, Peace One Day.
Though he's yet to achieve actual world peace, even for one day, the annual vacation from violence that Gilley helped create has had a profound effect. Last year, 27.6 million people in 200 countries observed Peace Day in some way.
As part of an ongoing quest to persuade those who bear arms to give up the nasty habit for at least 24 hours, Gilley and Law made a secret trip to Afghanistan, where they shot footage for a follow-up film. The resulting documentary, The Day After Peace, features Kofi Annan, The Dalai Lama, Annie Lennox, Jonny Lee Miller, and Angelina Jolie.
U.N. Goodwill Ambassador Jolie is shown in the film meeting with Gilley at his home, which is somewhat more modest than the Hollywood star has become accustomed to. Law and Gilley weren’t tempted to track down other A-listers for their project however. "Organizations can drown under the weight of too many faces," said Law in Cannes.
As an A-lister himself, the handsome star, who was caught by paparazzi sucking face with Kimberly Stewart this past weekend, enjoyed the anonymity his trip to Afghanistan afforded. "They had no idea who I was. I was really there as a B cameraman,” said Law, who is already planning a further foray to the region. He vowed, "I will return to Afghanistan to show the film there."
