Spitzer Resigns: The Art of Not Admitting a Sexual Tryst
New York Gov. Eliot Spitzer finally announced his resignation, with a short, vague statement and taking no questions. Of course, his evasive vagueness about sexual misconduct follows a long tradition of creative confessions of sexual trysts, including those made by Bill Clinton, Larry Craig, Ted Haggard and Kobe Bryant.

Bathroom Sex in Minneapolis Airport
Minneapolis police set up a sting in an airport bathroom last summer, to catch men interested in sneaking a quickey with another dude while passing through the Minneapolis/St. Paul airport. A cop set up shop in a bathroom stall and tapped his foot while another man was in the stall next to him. Apparently this is a bathroom sex signal. Those that responded were arrested. Senator Larry Craig (R) Idaho, was caught in the sting. Craig plead guilty because he thought it would be the best way to stay in the closet and avoid press about his sexual orientation and his hot bathroom sex life. Craig tried to get a judge to overturn his guilty plea once the press caught wind of his hope for a toilette tryst. Another man, thirty-nine-year-old Vince Tuzon plead not guilty and was acquitted because the police officer tapped his foot first. Essentially he claimed he was entrapped by the sting.
Why is the Minneapolis airport authority so concerned with a little bathroom who-ha? Travel is stressful. People get stranded for hours, sometimes days. If Minneapolis has a hot bathroom sex scene, why not promote it? I know a lot of people who would fly Northwest Airlines more often if they could get a little action in the Minneapolis on their way to their heterosexually oppressive business meetings. In fact, they should just add a bathhouse, charge a towel fee and call it done. Worst of all, though, this sting wreaks with homophobia, doesn't it? They're not trying to pick up women in the bathroom. Heterosexuals will never get caught in this kind of scenario, unless they put a hooker in the airport that tries to pick up johns. What do you guys think of this mess? Minneapolis police set up a sting in an airport bathroom last summer, to catch men interested in sneaking a quickey with another dude ... more -

Visit the Craig Toilet!!
Apparently, people asking where the restroom in the Minneapolis airport aren't asking for the usual reasons. The stall where Larry Craig was arrested has become a tourist attraction, with people taking pictures of the inside and outside. Now, unless they've put up a display, maybe with pictures of Craig and his "wide-stance", I'm betting it looks like any other stall. Which makes it all the more amusing! Apparently, people asking where the restroom in the Minneapolis airport aren't asking for the usual reasons. The stall where Larry Cr... more

Craig decided not to seek re-election before scandal broke
Advisers of Senator Larry Craig claimed that the beleaguered Republican had already decided even before his recent arrest for soliciting sex in a Minneapolis public bathroom that he would not seek re-election in 2008. Craig was supposedly looking to return home to his home state of Idaho after deciding with his wife Suzanne that almost three decades in U.S. Congress had been long enough.
