Top 10 Banned Films of the 20th Century
This list clearly shows that if there's one constant throughout history, it's that censors have bad taste. Tin Drum? Titticut Follies? Classics!
I want to know what we should have banned. What movies were so bad or so useless that they didn't deserve to be made or seen by anyone? Bonus points for anyone who can back up their submission to the list with an illustrative video clip. Skins 'orgy' poster is rapped by ad watchdog
A poster promoting Channel 4's teen drama Skins has been banned by the Advertising Standards Authority (ASA). It features two of the stars, April Pearson (Michelle) and Mike Bailey (Sid), surrounded by couples apparently taking part in an orgy.
The ASA said the image "could cause serious or widespread offence" and was inappropriate for poster sites that could be seen by children.

Gnarls Barkley's "Run" banned from US TV
"The video for Gnarls Barkley's new single, "Run," may feature a cameo from Justin Timberlake, but it's still not quite ready to air on MTV.
That's because of its strobe effects, which caused the clip to fail the Harding Test -- guidelines established to prevent TV images from triggering epileptic seizures."

Patriotic Woman Banned from Photobucket
Painting the illuminated woman in red, white and blue, I was feeling fiercely patriotic.
Thinking about how sexism is draining support for Hillary Clinton for President like a cut artery. Seeing young idealistic women buying Hillary's platform when it's shortened to 3 word sound bites by a tall younger man who looks presidential in a suit the way a woman never can, I was heartbroken by how people hate smart women.
The banning of this "Patriotic Woman" painting confirms how sexist America and the world is.
Pictures of penis's are ok and lingams like obelisks are the focal point of parks and monuments throughout the world like the Washington Monument and the Obelisk at the Place de la Concorde in Paris, and television is filled with commercials about male erectile disfunction, but "Patriotic Woman" must be deleted?

'Prudetube' bans bottom shaking, robot nipples
The YouTube user experience continues to downgrade with the removal of a 19yr old's solo dancehall videos.
Though no naughty bits showed, the Jenny Kendrick's cocking buttocks and swaying legs proved too much for YouTube users. They flagged the videos as inappropriate so many times, Jenny's account and videos were removed.
And shortly after Wired wrote about Michael Sullivan’s Sex Life of Robots, a film the artist likens to a “silent robot porno movie from another planet,” YouTube pulled the preview video from their site. Daily Mail, Express get upset about old 'video nasties'
FIlms banned 20 years ago for graphic violence are back on sale, and the Daily Mail isn't happy. Apparently, some MPs have demanded an overhaul of the law after the British Board of Film Classification approved a group of previously outlawed films for general release on DVD.
The censors claim they are no longer harmful because of more relaxed modern attitudes towards extreme on-screen violence. Among the films recently legalised is SS Experiment Camp, Snuff - based on the killings by Charles Manson's followers - and Driller Killer.
Do they have a point, or are they just wetting themselves over films they probably haven't seen? FIlms banned 20 years ago for graphic violence are back on sale, and the Daily Mail isn't happy. Apparently, some MPs have demanded an... more -
