Indie host and promoter extraordinaire Brent Bolthouse let slip last night the awesome fact that Sonic Youth performed for the Marc Jacobs fashion week show in NYC this weekend. Rock style lives at NY Fashion Week
One of the looks emerging at NY Fashion Week this year was pure rock!
"Max Azria brought back the bandage look of Herve Leger and outfitted rock starlets Joss Stone and Mandy Moore in the signature style in his front row. Rock & Republic turned for inspiration to the underworld and deep purple (the color, not the band).
Meanwhile, DKNY evoked a relaxed '70s glamour, while Diane von Furstenberg turned to the 1940s and Tracy Reese chose a ladylike look."

JLO closes out Fashion Week 2008 with her new line Just Sweet
Looks like the same ole stuff to me. We will see when it hits the stores. "This line will be the brand that is in between her J Lo denim and her high end couture line, Sweetface." She says "Girls who are young who are going to wear it are going to feel sophisticated in it because it does have a chic kind of feeling to it...
