VC2 goes to New Orleans!
Henry, Georgi and I went to New Orleans in September to reach out to local filmmakers, through a screening and Q&A at the Ashé Cultural Arts Center-- www.ashecac.org. We met amazing people and made new friends who showed us around the city. I wish our Flip camera footage could convey more of our experience, but these clips will at least give you a sense of what we did there.

New Orleans on the 28th of September!
VC2 Outreach will be in New Orleans on the 28th of September at the Ashe Cultural Center for a meet & greet and a screening. The event starts at 6:30PM and lasts 2 hours! On hand will be:

A Chance at Slamdance 2008
Think you missed the deadline for A Chance at Slamdance 2008? Think again! We've decided to extend the deadline to DECEMBER 1st at 7pm PST! Don't know about the partnership? Well read on!
To kick off Slamdance 2008, we want you to make and upload a short film about something that is relevant to you, your community or the world. The Slamdance programming committee - in conjunction with Current TVs Creative Executive team - will be curating five films into a theatrical screening at Slamdance, taking place during this years Slamdance Film Festival (January 17th to the 25th, 2008 in Park City, Utah).

THE MISSION:
Make a short documentary that is fresh, relevant, authentic and inspired.

CONTENT GUIDELINES:
- Films must be about current events or new trends
- Films must be between 4 and 10 minutes long
