SEX GALAXY movie trailer
"Sex Galaxy" is a sexy sci-fi cult comedy made completely out of recycled 'found footage.' It is made up of fifty different public domain and stock footage films which have been re-edited and re-dubbed to create something completely new, the very first 'green movie!'
Writer/director Mike Davis used weird educational and industrial films, Russian sci-fi b-movie footage and even a few old nudie stag reels in what is sure to be the next big cult movie sensation. Mixing low tech exploitation b-movie sensibility with modern digital techniques, Davis follows directors like Roger Corman in his quest to discover new frontiers in low budget filmmaking. Here is the plot:
One hundred years in the future, due to overpopulation and the effects of global warming, sex on Earth has been declared illegal. A crew of lonely astronauts take a detour from their routine mission to visit a mythical star system inhabited by female creatures whose only purposes is to serve man's desires known as the Sex Galaxy.
"Sex Galaxy" will premiere at the Atlanta Underground Film Festival on Friday, August 22nd at Midnight at the Plaza Theater. The Echo Project
October 12-14 in Atlanta. The Echo Project will take place on a 350 acre farm outside Atlanta, Georgia over three days. The entire festival will be powered by alternative energy sources, and will highlight innovative programs for power creation and consumption, leaving the environment surrounding the festival better once it's done.
