A Premature Burning
The Man is on fire! Most Burners were enjoying the lunar eclipse when people started to notice smoke and flames coming from the infamous Man, positioned in the middle of the Black Rock City. Officials were on site immediately to combat the flames while onlookers cheered "Save the Man". Eventually the fire was put out and the Man was safe once again albeit very badly charred. Crude Awakening Burns
Crude Awakening was a massive art installation at Burning Man 2007. It was composed of seven 30 foot tall figures in various forms of prayer. They stood beneath a 100 foot tall wooden oil derrick.
