Janet creates lingerie with Aussie designer
Sydney, Aug 21: Singer Janet Jackson's "wardrobe malfunction" at the Superbowl made headlines four years ago when her bustier ripped. Now, she really wants people to see her underwear, and is launching her own lingerie line.
The Grammy-winning singer has joined forces with Sydney-based designer Bruno Schiavi to create Pleasure Principle, a lingerie line named after her 1987 global hit.
Schiavi, who founded the Jupi Corporation in 1996, has previously teamed up with Australian singer Delta Goodrem and actress Priscilla Presley to create underwear lines.
Jackson, 42, said the collection would be lacy and sexy.
"You will see a lot of satin and lace combined and rich colors such as burgundy and beige, silver and peach as well as your classic black and white," Jackson said in a statement.
"It makes you feel incredible and offers variety as diverse as the women who will wear it.
The brand's first collection will debut in U.S. department stores in November with 14 bra styles and sizes ranging from 32A to 44G. The line will also be launched in Australia, Japan and Europe.

2007-2008 NFL Season: Déjà Vu All Over Again
Lawrence Tynes overtime field goal in the 2008 NFC Championship against the Green Bay Packers marked the 17th anniversary of former Giant Kicker Matt Bahr's heroic boot that sent the 1990 San Francisco 49ers home and the NY Football Giants to Superbowl XXV. It was Tynes fifth field goal attempt. He missed two fourth quarter attempts (36 and 43 yards). Bahr also kicked five field goals against the 49ers, in what remains the only NFC Championship game without a touchdown. The similarities don't end there. A Short History of Rock Stars in Super Bowl Commercials
With millions of viewers and dollars on the line, over the past two decades commercials have become as integral to the Super Bowl as bad refereeing and the opening coin flip. 2008's Super Sunday will feature ads with star turns by Justin Timberlake, Missy Elliott, Busta Rhymes, Macy Gray, Alice Cooper and LL Cool J, as well as music by Madonna and Shakira. But will these new advertisements top some of the most memorable commercials featuring rock stars from the past? Dip Once or Dip Twice: A scientific inquiry into the realm of double-dipping
Researchers at Clemson University set the record straight in asking the age-old snacking question: Does double dipping encourage the spread of germs?
"OUR annual national snacking binge is almost here. It would take a very large bowl indeed to hold all the guacamole mashed from the more than 100 million avocados that are consumed on Super Bowl Sunday. (My rough calculation gives a hemisphere bowl 20 yards in diameter and 3 times the height of the goal post crossbars.) And guacamole is just one of many dips that will be shared around the TV..."
