Could feet floating up on shore be connected to American Floating Prisons?
http://rawstory.com/news/2008/Report_US_continuing_rendition_secretly_holding_0602.html
The United States has engaged in more than 200 new cases of extraordinary rendition since President Bush vowed to end the practice in 2006 and has operated more than a dozen secretive "floating prisons" aboard military ships at sea, according to a soon-to-be released report from an international human rights organization.
The secret capture, transportation and detention of suspected terrorists in foreign prisons has not abated, despite the uproar over its probable violation of international law, according to the report from human rights group Reprieve, which was noted in The Guardian Monday. The detention of prisoners aboard military ships "is raising fresh concern and demand for inquiries" in the US and Great Britain, according to the paper.

"SEATTLE–A severed foot washed ashore on Canada's west coast Thursday – the fourth discovery of a human foot in the area in the past ten months.
http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20080617/ap_on_re_ca/canada_...
VANCOUVER, British Columbia - A fifth human foot in a year has washed ashore off the coast of British Columbia, and this time it's a left one.
The origin on any of the remains is still unknown.
"This might take a long time," Brooks said. "This is not CSI." She said in order to identify the foot, other remains from the body or identifying material such as a DNA would be needed. "It's going to be pretty difficult."
The Royal Canadian Mounted Police has said there's no evidence the feet were severed or removed from the victims' legs by force.
Curtis Ebbesmeyer, an oceanographer based in Seattle, Wash., said when a human body is submerged in the ocean, the main parts like arms, legs, hands, feet and the head are usually what come off the body.
He said his theory is that the feet came along as a result of an accident that might have happened up along the Fraser River, that washed down and spread out along the Straight of Georgia.
Ebbesmeyer said when the third foot was found the feet could have drifted from as far as 1,000 miles away. Ebbesmeyer said the feet could have been severed or detached from their bodies on their own. http://rawstory.com/news/2008/Report_US_continuing_rendition_secretly_holding_0602.html ... more -

Water is Torture - Amnesty International's new waterboarding ad (Cert.15)
A film the CIA doesn't want you to see. Amnesty's The Stuff of Life shows the disgusting reality of half-drowning a person then calling it 'enhanced interrogation'.
'Waterboarding' - the practice of torturing prisoners by partially drowning them - is used by the CIA to extract information from detainees in the ‘war on terror’. President George Bush thinks it's a 'necessary tool'. We think it's torture.

Bush to veto bill banning waterboarding
WASHINGTON - The White House says President Bush will veto legislation on Saturday that would have barred the CIA from using waterboarding — a technique that simulates drowning — and other harsh interrogation methods on terror suspects.
Bush has said the bill would harm the government's ability to prevent future attacks. Supporters of the legislation argue that it preserves the United States' right to collect critical intelligence while boosting the country's moral standing abroad.
"The bill would take away one of the most valuable tools on the war on terror, the CIA program to detain and question key terrorist leaders and operatives," deputy White House press secretary Tony Fratto said Friday.

So tell me again why impeachment is off the table? This is SHAMEFUL.

How Can I Tell My Children the U.S. Doesn't Torture?
A BUZZFLASH GUEST CONTRIBUTION
by Charleen Touchette
I am a mother of four. My children see the pictures of our young Americans torturing Iraqis. They hear our President say, "America does not torture." The Ten Commandments teach, "Thou shalt not kill," and "Thou shalt not lie." Yet my children see President Bush kill and lie everyday.

Waterboarding is torture.
And simply because there are other forms of torture out there does not make it not a form of torture.

Over board with the punishment!
I think that lindsey lohan new movie has yet to be seen................... and yes I think she has learned her lesson. Thank you. And the Rocky Horror show was reallt over done to the point it almost canned , but thank God It caught in time to pull the last clip! Lesson well learned. As for the missing doggie bones, Bentley needs them to catch much needed shut eye. Nothing over what he needs and certainly wouldn't over do it by any means. Too many birds and bee's buzzing, to let go. As for the horror house , it's still in tact and clean as ever. Counting is good , but I can promise there are no more bones to be found in that haunted house. The nurses deal was purley hers...... not to be put upon Mr. ROCKY! As for the bender , it's total black out.......... in the memory bank, Rocky for the life of him can't remember about it. It's not a good thing but I own it. As for the Homeland security.......... nothing to hide so go for it. I guess since the other bender that has tortured the man for 4 years and that made for a really bad day and the foot steps behind that, were I think to much to handle for the ole boy! He's still in pain and sick but life will get better thanx to the cops, I think? That lesson came to others when they doubted what commitment is all about. No fooling, huh???
:) A new day dawns and it's a start of a new life. Both lindsey lohan and the weired out tv
over the past 4 days leaned a lesson. Trust is not misplaced in Rocky, that you can rely on. Let bigones be bigones and zip it! Don't know what to tell the agency about the bender? It's a complete blank . ... sorry. People sometimes have traumas in thier life that can't be really explained that good , but it sometimes makes you block things out. Torture in war is fine when it's on the level. Rocky meant to hurt no one and wanted just not to be punished so harshly. The will be no next time and no remakes of that show. As for the new number?? It's a goner.... Big dogs don't cry right? It is touching and Rocky still stands for another fight! Hurah! As for the foot steps , they keep me awake at night running threw my mind. Hopefully as things grow they will go away. I will be back tommorro. Till next time. chowA! Thanx to all. I think that lindsey lohan new movie has yet to be seen................... and yes I think she has learned her lesson. Thank you. And ... more -
BEHEADINGS VS. WATERDOARDING
It's hilarious how this movement against waterboarding as a "torture" has taken off. It's definitely a trend in media and something fueled by the "left" as an attack on the "right". My request to everyone on this media trend and band wagon would be to search online for videos and stories on how the "enemy" uses torture and what that looks like. I guess to the disgruntled "Americans" living in this country who hate Bush and republicans, beheadings and the burning and dragging of our soldiers and fellow comrads, can't really compare to the controlled simulation of drowning. I'd much rather receive a very long drink of water than to have my head chopped off. Sounds refreshing. It's hilarious how this movement against waterboarding as a "torture" has taken off. Waterboarding is unconstitutional!
Waterboarding is a fancy way of saying dry drowning. Which is in my opinion worse than drowning. If you dont know what waterboarding or dry drowning is it is when cloth( ussually a sock) is shoved in a persons mouth and water is repeatedly poured on the cloth or sock in the persons mouth until they get their answers. This method is very inhumain and main not even get you the right answers. So why are we waterboarding/dry drowning terrorists? This is the question I am asking you because i myself have no answers.
