    • Escaped Caterpillar On Rampage Through City

COLUMBUS, OH—A ravenous caterpillar escaped from captivity today, wreaking havoc as it devoured everything in its sight and carved a half-centimeter path of destruction across the city, horrified sources reported.

Confined to a glass viewing chamber since late May, the savage creature reportedly broke free from its bedside enclosure before slithering out of an open window and charging wildly toward the city's unsuspecting commercial district.

I came back home and it was gone," said 8-year-old resident Daniel Bogen, whose hubris and reckless abandon has unleashed a terror of immeasurable proportions onto the community. "I thought I twisted the lid on the jar real tight. Where did it go?"

    • Launch of Columbus Lab Delayed Until February

Nasa says work on the Atlantis space shuttle's problematic fuel sensor system will push back the launch of the Columbus lab to perhaps February.
The European module was supposed to fly to the space station on the orbiter in December before erratic sensors led to the lift-off being scrubbed.

There is now an option for a 24 January launch, but February looks more likely.

The space agency says engineers need more time to fix a suspected faulty electrical connector in the system.

The sensors, which sit at the base of the shuttle's giant external tank, are part of a backup emergency system to cut off the orbiter's three main engines if they run out of hydrogen propellant before the ship reaches orbit.

Running the engines without fuel could trigger a catastrophic explosion.

    • My Country 'Tis of Thy People You're Dying

Sainte-Marie has claimed that she was blacklisted and that she, along with other American Indians in the Red Power movements, was put out of business in the 1970s.

"I found out 10 years later, in the 1980s, that [President] Lyndon B. Johnson had been writing letters on White House stationery praising radio stations for suppressing my music," Sainte-Marie said in a 1999 interview with Indian Country Today at Dine' College... "In the 1970s, not only was the protest movement put out of business, but the Native American movement was attacked."

Additionally, she claims that in the United States, her records were disappearing. According to her, thousands of people at concerts wanted records, and although the distributor claimed that the records had been shipped, no one seemed to know where they were.

Said Sainte-Marie, "I was put out of business in the United States."

"The Mystery of Colombo Revealed" - New evidence shows that Christopher Columbus was a nobleman and a Portuguese spy.

15 years of rigorous and systematic investigation knock down the officially known history.
Colombo was not a Genoese, but a Portuguese spy at the service of King John II.

«(...) this book by Manuel Rosa and Eric Steele (...) proves that, whatever may have been his true name, it is a noble Portuguese lineage that best explains the enigmatic contradictions surrounding the life of Colón.»

«Manuel da Silva Rosa, was born on Madalena do Pico and has lived in the USA since 1973. He is the most illuminated historian of our times in things related to the life of the «discoverer of America» and O Mistério Colombo Revelado is a new book written by this most expert historian in the matter...»
