This would be the best thing to happen to Warriors basketball since, well it would be a great move. EB is the real deal and this would be a great move. • Children + Strippers = Hilarious Hole-in-One!

So what happens when a golf course accidentally books a youth golf tournament AND a strip club charity golf game at the same time? A hilariously sexy mishap!

Young golfers, ages 7 to 12, had not completed their Monday morning tournament before participants arrived in limousines for the Shotgun Willie's Charity Golf Tournament.

The latter event featured patrons of the strip club paired with dancers who served as caddies. Police later broke up the event after complaints from neighbors.

The cool kids however were fine with sticking around for the action on the back 9.

Ambidextrous pitcher + Switch Hitter = ??? This is the funniest thing I've seen in a baseball game in a long time.

    • Pele attacked and robbed at gunpoint

What is this world coming to? At least the legendary soccer player wasn't hurt. He did loose some cash, his watch (which was a nice one I bet) and his mobile phone. Duder, there's two things to remember here... one, don't steal from Pele. I mean come on, it's Pele for chrissakes. What is this world coming to? At least the legendary soccer player wasn't hurt. • US basketball team named

The US invented the sport of basketball, and yet at the Athens Olympics 4 years ago, we had our high-tops handed to us, losing 3 games in the Olympics and coming in 3rd.

Hopefully this year will be different. The team will be led on the court by super-stars LeBron James and Kobe Bryant, but more importantly (in my unabashedly biased opinion - I am a Dukie after all!) they will be coached by Hall of Famer Coach Krzyzewski.

The full roster announced this morning is:
      Kobe Bryant
      LeBron James
      Dwyane Wade
      Carmelo Anthony
      Jason Kidd
      Tayshaun Prince
      Carlos Boozer
      Chris Bosh
      Dwight Howard
      Chris Paul
      Michael Redd
      Deron Williams

Is this team unbeatable? Or could egos cause them tp come home without the gold? And there's no one from the newly crowned NBA champs, the Boston Celtics. Is that a slight?

    • Celtics Win 17th Title

The Boston Celtics beat the Los Angeles Lakers to capture a record 17th NBA Championship. The win marks their first title since "The Big Three" Larry Bird, Kevin McHale and Robert Parish won it back in 1986. This time "The Big Three" for Boston came in the form of Kevin Garnett, Ray Allen and Finals MVP Paul Pierce who teamed up to dismantle the Lakers team in the best of seven series that many people picked them to lose. • Stay Classy Boston (22 arrested)

      Surprising only in that there were so few arrested after such a big win. Guess Boston fans really don't have much heart after all. I mean come on, 22, thats nothing. In a statement to the press Boston's Mayor called these Celtics fans "punks" and hopes that they will face tough punishments. As my friend Vince Vaughn said once, "Class, class, class". Right Gino!       "Prepare for the kind of awesome that might very well blow an appendage right off your body. This old Sprite commercial was submitted by Basketbawful reader Wild Yams, who said: "Speaking of awful commercials, I'd like to present my all-time favorite worst basketball commercial in which Kobe and Tim Duncan square off against each other with their posses for a rap-off, then Missy Elliot shows up to take over while Kobe and Tim play a game of one-on-one."     • O.J.'s Guilty;

No, it's not the other USC Sports star. This one plays basketball. OJ Mayo was a highly recruited freshman guard for the Trojans last year. Now, he's got a lot of explaining to do. It seems that Mayo got paid while playing at USC and even before that time. Early this year, OJ was also in the press for accepting tickets to an NBA basketball game.

Lets face it, players getting money while playing College Sports is an issue that isn't going away soon. For young superstars that play basketball and football there is going to be a lot of temptation but rules are rules. He shouldn't of been involved in this situation. If he's telling the truth and he didn't take any money, great. But he probably did and deserves to punished to the maximum extent of the law.

Former USC basketball player O.J. Mayo, a projected lottery pick in this year's NBA draft, received thousands of dollars in cash, clothes and other benefits in apparent violation of NCAA rules while he was still in high school and during his one year in college, a former Mayo associate told ESPN's "Outside the Lines."

Louis Johnson, who was a part of Mayo's inner circle until recently, said Mayo accepted around $30,000 in cash and gifts during the past four years from Rodney Guillory, a 43-year-old Los Angeles event promoter. In addition to cash, the gifts included a flat-screen television for Mayo's dorm room, cell phone service, a hotel room, clothes, meals and airline tickets for Mayo's friends and a relative, according to Johnson, others with knowledge of the gifts and store receipts.

    • Jackie Robinson

April 15, 2007 marked the 60th Anniversary of the day Jackie Robinson took the field for first time as a Brooklyn Dodger, effectively breaking Major League Baseballs color barrier. It was the single greatest day in the history of American sports and an event that was certainly before its time. Jackie’s accomplishments on and off the field changed the landscape of sports forever and brought the issue of segregation to every city he played in. Fans, players and organizations around the country paid tribute last Sunday to a true American hero. • Warriors vs Nuggets; A Play-In Game

We got two great teams going at it tonight for TNT's Thursday night special. The nugs and warriors both need the win and they both need the other team to loose. To many this game's winner "should" make it into the playoffs. Can Nelly ball take Golden State to another playoff run? Denver is the kind of team that I think the Warriors match up well against even though they have lost to the Nuggets twice this year.
Denver is also not running at full strength and will have to play in the Bay with a couple of fans that don't want a Warrior loss. The bookmakers are giving a five point edge to Golden State....

But who do you like in this matchup?

In a game that will not soon be forgotten, the Kansas Jayhawks miraculously defeated the Memphis Tigers, securing their third National Championship. It had been twenty years since the Jayhawks' last won the title with Danny (Manning) and the Miracles. This time around Kansas would rely on their junior guard Mario Chalmers to bring some magic and a shot at another championship back to KU.

    • Love & Collison are going pro

Pac 10 Player of the Year and should be first team All American Kevin Love and star point guard Darren Collison are reportedly going to enter into the upcoming NBA draft. A big relief to 9 Pac 10 teams.
Love's absence combined with the lo-pro bros leaving the trees to go play tarzan with the big boys takes about 20 feet of solid post play out of the Pac 10 for next season. Coming back next year are Washington twins towers (wallace and brockman) and the new best center in the conference Aron Baynes of Washington State. Unless I'm missing something. Let me know.
