Dr. Dre's Detox to hit shelves soon
Dr. Dre's long-awaited album 'Detox' may finally see the light of day before 2009. Recently the famed producer revealed to USA Today that he's looking to release the project in November or December. As for the album's delay, Dre simply blames it on his perfectionist ways. "We have an entirely new thing going with the drums that's incredible, and we're still developing that," he explained to USA Today. Jay-Z, Lil Wayne, Nas, Snoop Dogg, and 50 Cent are expected to appear on the highly anticipated album. Dr. Dre's long-awaited album 'Detox' may finally see the light of day before 2009. Bishop Lamont Speaks On Detox and Eve
As the buzz for Bishop Lamont’s newest single “Grow Up” spreads to newer outlets, so does Lamont. In a recent interview on the Wendy Williams Experience radio show, Lamont talked about Detox as well as Eve’s quiet fallout with Aftermath and Dr. Dre.
Being somewhat of a spokesman for Dre’s Detox album, Lamont provided a current yet quick report on the project that has put Dre in a mental stalemate. “It’s not done, we about 50% in. You gotta realize with dude, [it’s been] 22 years, and dude is like ‘it’s gotta be the best it can be.’ He’s under pressure, the worst pressure. The worst scrutiny is coming from his own mind, his own ears.”

Whats The Worst Song Of All Time??
I know its been a minute since the last post but I been doing recording alot of new music lately so I havent had the time BUT I got a lil time and there is something I HAD to share with yall. Even though I hate wack shit, I think one of my hobbies is listening to extremely bad shit or just plain infamous ass shit. Shit like Shawty Lo's line 'How you laughing? like HA HA HA' or anything off the hilariously classic and quotable 'Controversy' album by the legend Willie D (Bald Head Hoes is beyond a classic). But the song I found isnt by any of the usual suspects or anyone you know and if you do know these dudes you should of stopped them a LONG time ago. They are called Young Spuset and these niggas are the Bentley's in wack music. Off beat rhymes, terrible harmonies and bad execution. Everything that could of went wrong, did go wrong.
Now I love how music can make you want to make music but sometimes music aint for all of us. Then again if you stay at it you can get better, cause I would have never guess Wayne would be where he was if you asked me back when the Block is Hot came out. So here is the WACKEST MOST FUCKED UP SONG ADD-2 HAS HEARD PERIOD.... Young Spuset's 'Lets Stay Together'. If you can make it thru the whole song I tips my hat to you...
Do you have an opinion on who has the worst song of all time....Click here....

Bishop Lamont: Sunday Morning
Dr. Dre and the artists he has introduced the world to have always had a knack for writing about the kind of subjects most people repent for on Sundays. Who knew that all along he was really looking for someone to strike the perfect balance between Saturday night hedonism and Sunday morning holiness? As one of the few emcees to brag about the joy of spreading the gospel and being on the receiving end of fellatio in the same bar, Bishop Lamont is the rare artist who can sometimes even make “the good doctor” uncomfortable.
After years of patiently waiting behind 50 Cent, Eminem, Busta Rhymes and Eve on the Aftermath roster, it seemed like it would take a miracle in order for Bishop's debut to see the light of day. But the last year has seen the Carson, California native use a series of album-quality mixtapes to create renewed anticipation for both his own debut album and Dr. Dre's long-awaited swan song, Detox. While taking a rare break from recording what was presumably material for one of or both of the aforementioned albums, Bishop showcased the kind of humor and blunt honesty which allows him to blur the line between the recording booth and the confessional booth. Do you believe?
HipHopDX: Alright, we won’t start off with a million Detox questions. How about explaining what’s behind you’re crew WARDOGGZ. That stands for We Are Ready to Die in Order to Glorify God to Zion, right?
Bishop Lamont: Yeah, it’s just for the gospel man. It’s a lot of different cats from different walks of life that believe in doing something right for their people and for the most high. It’s like the good Illuminati.

The Game: Man Vs. Machine
The game don't wait, at least that's what Warren G once said. However, The Game says that Hip Hop may have to wait on him to hear more after three largely-publicized, arguably classic albums. The third in the trilogy, L.A.X., is the topic at an early afternoon conversation in a Geffen Records corner office in New York City.
Surrounded by his homeboys from Compton and industry mastermind Jimmy "Henchman" Rosemond, The Game discusses Hip Hop in its purest form. Spouting off artists of yesteryear, recounting famous battles and quoting lyrics, The Game might seem like an unlikely lecturer for the university circuit. However, The Game is both a diligent student of Hip Hop and one of its biggest headline drivers. The 27 year-old needs no inquisition to speak about separation from Dr. Dre, a self-proclaimed victory over G-Unit and a sleeping giant perspective on Jay-Z.
Although it seems it's impossible to get The Game to not be controversial, the first Compton rapper since his mentor to further the city's legacy seems to be about bigger issues than feuds, bravado and half-stepping rumors of retirement. Whether his promises are to be believed or not, the rapper who has been one of the few platinum superstars to still serve time, demonstrates his love of Hip Hop history, and use his underdog status to do what EPMD, Too Short, Master P and Jay-Z did before him - threaten to hang it up if we don't wake up. HipHopDX shows you an artist, a dreamer and a victim of circumstance - Game, the man, versus the machine.

Producer's Corner: Mr. Porter
2006 was a year that Detroit and Hip-hop suffered losses which to this day remain unfathomable. One man who lost not only his bandmate but two of his closest friends was Denaun Porter.
Kon Artist or Mr. Porter, depending on which hat he is adorning at the time is a man that has absorbed the loss of his brethren, he will never come to terms with it, but in this interview with HipHopDX, you get the distinct impression that he has, since their passing, been laced with nitro. Focused and determined to make sure he does his part for Hip Hop and his home town he has been keeping busy.
Executive producing possibly one of the most acclaimed albums of 2007, Pharohe Monch’s Desire and allowing up and coming artists the chance to spit over his beats through his online portal MrPorter.com, this producer/rapper/fan/webmaster and self proclaimed student is still enjoying wearing his vast array of hats like he was back when he first started out, the only difference being that those hats are more custom made today. Well when you have achieved the success he has that is inevitable.
Talking beats, brothers lost, battles of a political nature and that five letter word that is often thought of as ‘the’ urban legend within Hip-Hop…Detox, this is how life is for one of the most promising producers in the game today.

Dre's former right hand man talks Big, Pac, and Ghostproducing
“The stylized black-and-white footage rolled, and there was Dre rapping in close-up, just as expected. Negativity sucked the conference room empty, just as expected…
…But the music sounded like a Death Row track, by which I mean it was a Dr. Dre track. And Dre was doing the hook. That was bad enough. Then the East Coast niggas started showing up in cameos. First some East Coast basketball cats, big and impressive names if you’re from Brooklyn. This was the San Fernando Valley, though. And there was a war going on.
Tupac said, ‘If I see one more East Coast nigga in this motherfucker…’
…Then Kool G. Rap entered the video frame.
‘What the fuck!’ shouted Tupac.
And everybody began to beat the shit out of Sam Sneed.

U.K. Ban On Snoop Dogg Lifted
In 2006, Snoop Dogg and five members of his entourage were arrested after a mass brawl at Heathrow Airport. Immigration officials claimed that Snoop's presence provoked violent crime, and used this as a basis for refusing him a visa for a tour. This decision apparently came directly from immigration minister Liam Byrne....
