One of the New Seven Wonders: Chichen Itza
Chichen Itza is one the “ New Seven Wonders of the World” poll. Deservedly so. I was amazed by the size of the area and incredible architectural developments of the Mayan without the aide of a laser level, 18v cordless drills, sanders, carbide bits, or Home Depot.
What is more amazing is that twice a year, for only an hour, on equinox (when the day and night lengths are the same), and with clear skies, the pyramid creates a shadow on itself… Fortunately Paco and his 40 years of service at Chichen Itza can describe it better and I was glad to have my cameras – otherwise I might not believe it. Check out another ITKT video. Chichen Itza is one the “ New Seven Wonders of the World” poll. Deservedly so. I was amazed by the size of the area and incredible arc... more -

The place where I laid my head, had breakfast, dinner, enjoyed some great San Juan skylines and used as my hub for traveling the city, the San Juan Marriott. I met with the big cheese at the San Juan Marriott, Julian Cable-Treadwell for the In The Know perspective on San Juan and the Marriott. First off, I loved San Juan.
