School Threat cancels classes at High School.
This occurred yesterday at Glen A. WIlson High School in Hacienda Heights, California:
"A massive line, two blocks long, formed outside the school and each student waited to be searched by Hacienda La Puente Unified School District Police before entering the campus. School police say that the thorough search came on the heels of a threat against the school that authorities discovered on an internet site."Yeah there was a long line all the way down there and the line curved around the corner. So it took about two hours to get everybody in school," said Khalilah Mack, a student.
"I heard that they left a message or e-mails. It was like ten students from our school that they were going to bomb or shoot someone. It was something like that," said Amanda Morrison.
Some concerned parents decided to take their kids out of the school Thursday.
"My concern is when they do have threats, let us know that it is a threat and not false information. Then they can take the right precautions. To me they should of closed the school," said Jackie Brooks, a concerned parent.
"Well I know that the school is trying to protect the kids. It is one kid's stupidity that causes all of this chaos. They have to have a better system, to keep all the kids in one class now," said Heidi Sanchez, a concerned parent.
The threat wasn't only issued days before the ninth anniversary of the Columbine, but also after the one year anniversary of the Virginia Tech shooting."
