Lindsay Lohan mug shot used in liquor industry ad
A mug shot of the 21-year-old actress, who has been in and out of rehab after two arrests last year on drunken driving and cocaine charges, was prominently featured Friday in an advertisement attacking legislation for devices that measure a driver's blood alcohol level before their vehicle can start.
The full-page black-and-white ad appeared in USA Today on Friday and was paid for by the American Beverage Institute, a trade group that supports the interests of the alcohol industry. The ad reads "Ignition interlocks are a good idea for" above Lohan's mug shot from her July 24, 2007, arrest and "But a bad idea for us" above smaller photos of people drinking.
The ad suggested that ignition interlocks were fine for "hard-core" drunk drivers, but suggested they would bring an end to champagne toasts at weddings, wine at dinner and ballgame beers. Former Hollywood madame, Heidi Fleiss is the newest “celeb” to join Dr. Drew Pinsky on the reality show Celebrity Rehab 2. The show will start filming the second week of June and Heidi said she will take this very seriously.

UN slams celebrity druggies
Celebs who take drugs are "getting off too lightly" and that's sending a dangerous message to young people, according to the United Nations. The report lambastes prosecutors worldwide for chasing after the "easy pickings" at the bottom of the drug trade pyramid while letting the high profile users and dealers off too easily.
"Young people are quick to pick up on, and react to, perceived leniency... It also makes people become cynical about drug enforcement," said Hamid Ghodse, the author of the report. He warned that governments should take tougher measures to stem drug trade from the top as well as the bottom.

Details of the restraining order against Lufti have been released, and Britney's mom alleges that Lutfi "essentially moved into Britney's home and has purported to take control of her life, home and finances." Rehab relo because of fires
Promises, the Malibu rehabilitation center where Britney Spears and Lindsay Lohan have sought treatment, moved staff members and about 18 patients.
"We evacuated Sunday morning before the order came because the conditions there were very frightening," Promises founder and CEO Richard Rogg told The Associated Press on Tuesday. "The power went out, the winds were blowing at hurricane force and you could see flames coming over the mountain top."
Rooms were booked for patients in an "upscale hotel" near the Promises facility in west Los Angeles, where staff members "regrouped and tried to keep the schedule going as normally as possible," Rogg said.
