    • Falklands War Tribute (2007)

During the year of 2007, the Royal British Legion Scotland was involved in a number of commemorative events marking the 25th year since the Falklands War. I went along to two of these events in Edinburgh; a fly pass and music display on the Royal Mile and a Beating Retreat which took place at Edinburgh Castle. • Edinburgh Mini Tattoo (2007) Director Cut

In August 2007, I took my Hi8 camera out again to film the annual mini tattoo over three days capturing the musical experience of the event and I now present it to the everyone in the world. The Mini Tattoo is an annual fixture in Princes Street Gardens, Edinburgh next to the Ross Bandstand. The Mini Tattoo is as it's name suggests a mini version of the main show that is staged at Edinburgh Castle. I put a lot of effort into making this film and it took a long time to edit. Here is the Director's Cut which is ten minutes long and captures the best moments of the mini tattoo, enjoy. • Tibetans continue protest march despite police ban

Hundreds of Tibetan exiles defied police and resumed their six-month march from northern India to Tibet to protest Beijing's hosting of this summer's Olympic Games. The march began on 10 March 2008, Tibetan Uprising Day, the 49th anniversary of a failed uprising against Chinese rule that forced the Dalai Lama into exile. Tibetans around the world commemorated this day with pro-Tibet demonstrations and protests.

The exiled Tibetan marchers are reportedly determined to complete their journey despite being banned by police from leaving their area near Dharmsala, the northern Indian city that is seat of the Tibetan government in exile.

"The exile groups say China is attempting to stamp out Tibetan Buddhist culture and increase the government's presence in Tibet. Beijing maintains that Tibet is historically part of China."

Human rights groups and pro-Tibet groups are angry that the International Olympic Association allowed the Olympics to be hosted by a country they criticise for being repressive and torturous.

    • March for the Kidnapped

Gustavo Moncayo is an elementary school teacher in Sandona, Narino province (southeast of Colombia). His son, Private Pablo Emilio Moncayo is one of the soldiers who has been held hostage by the FARC for the longest time, as he was kidnapped in 1997. Driven by despair, profesor Moncayo, decided 6 months ago to chain his hands in protest against the situation of his son. Later, aware that his effort was achieving hardly anything, decides to start a walk through half of this country (his hometown is 1005 kilometers far from Bogota) to the capital city with the hope to get his son free again or to put pressure on the government and the FARC to start a humanitarian agreement to help all people held hostage in Colombia. His journey started more than one month ago he doesn't walk alone anymore, as people join him in every town he has passed by. • 365 DAYS OF MARCHING - THE AMADOU DIALLO STORY

The streets of New York City have certainly witnessed its share of acts of civil disobedience, violence and rebellion. Dating back as far as the Draft Riots of 1863, very often, the disenfranchised would take to the streets when opposing the government’s unfair policies and practices. Eight years ago when an unarmed African immigrant by the name of Amadou Diallo was shot at 41 times (hit 19 times) by 4 New York City Police Officers, the people took to the streets charging the NYPD with police brutality. Over the next two years that followed, a series of marches and protests was set into motion that would forever change the lives of New Yorkers. At its conceptual root, spearheaded by Rev Al Sharpton and the National Action Network, was the march for justice for Diallo. However, in the midst of the struggles a new breed of protestor began to emerge. Along the side of the activist stood politicians, students and professors, unions and laborers. The shout of “No Justice - No Peace!” What do we want? JUSTICE!” Now became “What do we want??BOOKS! HOUSING! JOBS! Diallo’s death became a symbol for justice on all fronts. 360 Media recounts this bitter and yet compelling part of New York City history in the upcoming documentary entitled “365 Days of Marching” The Amadou Diallo Story DIRECTED, WRITTEN & PRODUCED by Veronica Keitt CO-PRODUCED BY Michael Drake, Ozzie Thompson, Nat Woods, Darryl Stith SPECIAL APPEARANCES by Rev Al Sharpton, Seiko & Kadiatou Diallo, the parents of Amadou Diallo, David N. Dinkins, former NYC Mayor, Charles Rangel, US Congressmen, Rev. Jessie Jackson, Charles Barron, Councilman, Norman Siegel, ACLU Community Leaders, Activists and others ...
