Red Sox anti-hero Buckner forgiven and invited back to Fenway to throw ceremonial ...
Many years ago... Vin Scully once said, "If a picture is worth a thousand words, you have just seen a million..."
And then Sox Nation as immature as Sox nation has been known to be, ran an innocent former batting champ named Bill Buckner out of town...
(Calvin Schiraldi and Bob Stanley however are still treated like Red Sox heroes... depite Buckner being considered a cuss word in New England)
Finally after billions of dollars invested into 2 championships later, the Red Sox organization and unruly mob known as Sox Nation has decided to forgive the man more than 20 years later... and have promised to stop with the death threats...
He then got to throw out the ceremonial first pitch for the Red Sox home opener this year... Many years ago... Vin Scully once said, "If a picture is worth a thousand words, you have just seen a million..." ... more -

Rocky Ticket System Fails Fans
The ticketing system set up to sell tickets to the World Series in Colorado was shut down by team officials when the site experienced what I'm thinking was Red Sox Nation. Could it be that Colorado fans were trying to buy tickets? Of course they were BUT what they probably didn't anticipate was every man, woman and child that claims to love the Red Sox logging on to try and buy tickets. Hell, its probably cheaper and easier to buy a ticket in Colorado, fly there from Boston and take up yachting then it is to get a hold of a ticket to Fenway. One way or the other, Boston fans will have a big presence at Coors Field this year. How much? Great question....
What percentage of fans at Coors Field will be cheering for the Red Sox?
a) 0-10%. It's cold, it's far, Rockies fans will get them first.
b) 11-25%. There's some Sox fans that already bought season tickets to every NL team just for this situation.
c) 26-50%. These fans want to see a game and lost the lottery/bah fight.
d) 50% or more. Nobody cares about baseball in Colorado. The ticketing system set up to sell tickets to the World Series in Colorado was shut down by team officials when the site experienced ... more
