Kathy Lee Gifford bashes pagans on The Today Show!
On Wednesday, June 25, 2008, during a live broadcast of a wedding reception on The Today Show, Kathy Lee Gifford gratuitously referred to pagans as "nasty, bad Pagans." Ms Gifford's hate speech has done harm to American pagans' ability to live in peace with our neighbors of other faiths. By allowing her hate speech to be broadcast, her direct employer The Today Show, and their network, NBC, participate in that hate speech.
This is a petition calling for, at the very least, an on-air apology. A Today Show program devoted to dispelling misconceptions about pagans and paganism would go a long way toward undoing the damage.
Signers of this petition are also putting the sponsor of that Today Show segment, Samsung, on notice that we are conducting a boycott against them until such time as we receive justice.

FOX Attacks Michelle Obama
A video and petition against Fox News.
"You're not going to believe what FOX is up to now—we could hardly believe it ourselves. Not only are they smearing Michelle Obama with racist stereotypes, but then they offer a feeble apology that they believe gives them the right to slander her again. That's what happened when FOX called Michelle and Barack Obama's fist bump a "terrorist fist jab," apologized, and then less than a week later referred to Michelle Obama as Barack's "Baby Mama."
FOX's long history of racism is nothing new, but it has been particularly egregious when it comes to their coverage of the Obamas. Racism and fearmongering have no place in our country or its politics, despite what FOX would have you believe. That's why we put together this video, FOX Attacks Michelle Obama.
We cannot allow FOX's heinous smears and scare tactics to continue. Sign our petition and stop FOX from injecting racism, prejudice, and fear into our political dialogue. Then, send it to all your friends and family members for them to sign as well. And spread it on sites like Digg to create an uproar.

How many would sign petition to MSNBC to tell them to stop unethical drug adverti...
How many out there would participate in a petition signing to send to MSNBC to tell them we are disgusted with direct to consumer drug advertising.
Not only are the drugs killing people and the ads sickening but they are also making anything we hear on their health related issues biased towards big Pharm..we can not trust anything they say..it is worthless propaganda to sell their sponsor's products.
This does not happen in other countries except New Zealand and they are also scraping the bottom of quality health care with the US health "care" system.
Please let me know if anyone is interested and I will try to make
a petition and have it on line if I see any interest.

Take part in saving the planet. Plant a tree in Niger
This is a link to a petition I have at a great site named Tree Nation. Tree Nation is a site started recently (with the endorsement of the UN Environment Programme) with the goal of planting 8 million trees in the shape of a heart in the heart of the desert in Niger, Africa. Niger is the one country experiencing the most devastating effects of deforestation, namely drought and famine that have killed thousands of people mainly children.
This site attempts to do a great thing to help mitigate deforestation and poverty, and by people signing my petition Tree Nation is planting a tree in Niger for every one hundred signatures. This is very dear to my heart, and is why I addressed the petition to the Honorable Al Gore, because his movie An Inconvenient Truth was the global catalyst for a worldwide awakening that has now culminated in more governments seeking to take action, individuals becoming more aware of their moral responsibility to this pale blue dot, our only home, and a heightening of not only awareness, but in seeing the opportunities before us that take us from that awareness away from despair.
And yes, while the forecast looks bleaker than was thought, the human spirit is something I still believe in. That is why I started this petition not only in honor of that spirit and to help Tree Nation grow, but because I love this planet and I love trees and see them as part of the grand solution. And too, because I respect and love Al Gore very much and believe that his work on this crisis is what will carry us through this with hope.
So please, pledge to do all you can as an indiviidual to be a part of the solution and to be the change you wish to see in this world.
