Batman blamed for Terrorism?
It was supposed to be a joke. Two 18-year-olds, inspired by the latest Batman movie, wrote threats on playing cards and spread them around the New River Valley, Virginia. For many the response was fear.
Now, Justin Dirico and Bryan Stafford are in jail, facing very serious charges. One of the cards read "Death on 8-15-08." Causing many to worry about an attack Friday. The teens are now charged with conspiring to commit terrorism, a felony with a maximum punishment of 20 years behind bars. It was supposed to be a joke.
