It's snowing! Everybody Panic!
Yes it's that time of year when the news runs dry and the snow flows freely. By my reckoning this happens every year, and yet when it does happen the whole of the UK still manages to get surprised by it. "Terrible weather isn't it" they say, "awful" you duly agree.
It's not terrible as much as it is entirely normal. Terrible is when a Hurricane strikes, not when winter shows it's teeth. We carry the same sideways logic towards the days getting shorter in the winter, "I can't believe how dark it's getting so early on!" people seem to say.
