Armani designs outfight for bullfighter
Italian designer Giorgio Armani has designed a glittering costume for 31-year-old Spanish bullfighter Cayetano Rivera.
Rivera will wear the satin "suit of lights" when he takes part in the "Corrida Goyesca" bullfight in Ronda, Andalusia on September 6. The suit is made in Armani's hallmark shade of greyish beige embroidered with sequins, crystals and silver thread.
Rivera comes from a family of famous bullfighters; it was Pablo Picasso himself who designed the suit of lights costume for Cayetano's grandfather Antonio Ordonez for the same event around 50 years ago. Putting an end to much speculation, David Beckham and Giorgio Armani officially announced today that he will be the new..umm...face of Armani Underwear.
In the official statement released by Armani, David Beckham had this to say:
?I first met Mr. Armani quite a few years ago while I was working with the England team when he designed our World Cup suit. I've been a big fan of his style for a long time and, through the years, my wife and I have become friends with him, so I?m happy to be working with him now. For me Giorgio Armani is a man who has been at the top of his game for more than thirty years.?

David Beckham Strikes Armani Undies Deal
Giorgio Armani is launching his Emporio Armani underwear collection in the U.S. and he's tapped an icon to wear it: David Beckham.
Beckham has been signed as the global face of Emporio Armani underwear. Beckham was shooting the ad campaign in Los Angeles late last week with Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott. The ads will break in fashion magazines worldwide beginning with the January issues.
