Gyllenhaal still lost over the loss of Ledger
With no exact reason for Heath Ledger's death yet, the mourning process is a bit hindered and one of the people taking it the hardest is Brokeback Mountain co-star Jake Gyllenhaal.
A source on the set of his latest movie, Brothers, said, "This has had a strong personal effect on [Jake]." The insider adds that Gyllenhaal left the set immediately after learning of Ledger's Jan. 22 death – but he flew back on a commercial flight to shoot an additional scene on Thursday.
"He was there, but he wasn't with us. It was obviously a major trauma," says the movie source. "These guys were very close. [Jake] was sitting in the director's chair staring off into space." Fred Phelps to protest Heath Ledger's funeral
Oye! Here we go again! Famous for his "God Hates Fags" faith and for protesting Matthew Shepherds funeral, Fred Phelps and his gang of followers from Westboro Baptist Church plan on picketing and protesting Heath Ledger's funeral because of his involvement with the movie, Brokeback Mountain, where he played a gay man who was involved in a relationship with another man.
In a press release released by Phelps, this was said:
"Yes. WBC will picket this pervert's funeral, in religious protest and warning: "Be not deceived; God is not mocked." Gal. 6:7. Heath Ledger thought it was great fun defying God Almighty and his plain word; to wit: God Hates Fags! & Fag Enablers! Ergo, God hates the sordid tacky, bucket of slime seasoned with vomit known as 'Brokeback Mountain' - and He hates all persons having anything whatsoever to do with it. Heath Ledger is now in Hell, and has begun serving his eternal sentence there - beside which, nothing else about Heath Ledger is relevant or consequential."
Anyone else think this is EXTREMELY over the top?! Oye! Here we go again! Famous for his "God Hates Fags" faith and for protesting Matthew Shepherds funeral, Fred Phelps and his gang ... more -

Phil Jackson's Brokeback Mountain
Good lord Phil. No need.
NEW YORK (AP) -- The NBA has spoken with the Los Angeles Lakers about a sexual reference coach Phil Jackson made in a comment following Tuesday night's game in San Antonio.
The Spurs made 13 3-pointers in their 107-92 victory, and Jackson was asked if too much penetration was leading to open outside shooters.
"We call this a 'Brokeback Mountain' game, because there's so much penetration and kickouts," Jackson said. "It was one of those games."
The 2005 film, which won three Oscars, depicts two cowboys who conceal their homosexual affair.
"The remarks are in poor taste, and the Lakers have assured us such remarks will not occur in the future," league spokesman Brian McIntyre said. Good lord Phil. No need. ... more
