Car gets clamped, owner cuts it in half
After having his legally 'off the road' car clamped for allegedly being parked over the pavement, Ian Taylor brought power to the people, and to his car, by cutting it in half with an angle grinder.
He'd bought the car as a renovation project for him and his stepson, but after realising it was not an economical option, declared it 'off the road' and left it parked up on his drive until he could get rid of it.
Mr. Taylor was notably incensed by the clamping but pleased he got the supposed last laugh:

Pensioner protests over his "pink pad"
An Italian pensioner faces a custodial sentence for getting in touch with his feminine side and painting his house a beautiful pink colour. Unfortunately for him, his house is not only situated on the Italian national park Cinque Terre but is also a UNESCO world heritage site.
The owner, Giuliani Contadino's response to this has surely sealed his fate, with him quoted as saying "Some policemen came to tell me what I had done was wrong.
