Alife Serves An Ace With Their Tennis Ball Sneaker!
I know, I said the same thing: "these are outright ridiculous." But after seeing these kicks with my own eyes at the Alife Rivington Store (SOHO, New York City), I quickly changed my mind. These are one of the most marvelous things one could slip onto their feet.
Talk about out of the box. Could you see yourself wearing shoes made of actual tennis ball felt!? These are even too futuristic for Leroy from the Jetsons. Plus, they can be pumped up to create a more comfortable fit. So if you were a size 9 and they only have 10's, pump these bad boys up and your ready for war. One serious drawback: the price. Good grief. Somebody find these for less than an arm and a leg, and I'll give you a Coke and a smile. I know, I said the same thing: "these are outright ridiculous." Japan Brings The Heat For Your Feet
Japanese brand Ubiq always comes up with head-turning, sometimes offbeat designs when it comes to their footwear. The latest 2007 Fall/Winter collection is no different. I tried these bad boys on in the summer, but when I came back to scoop these from Cmonwealth (cmonwealth.com) while home on thanksgiving break, they were sold out in my size! Maybe you'll be lucky enough to find these at a boutique near you. If these aren't the most comfortable shoe I've ever tried on, I don't know what is.
