New high tech record-breaking swimsuit
This new swimsuit is making waves in the world of olympic swimming. Swimmers wearing the suit have broken 38 of 42 world swimming records. The key to the suit is that there are no sewn seams, instead there's some crazy high tech welding that takes place. Wheelie Small
The remote control motorbike World Championships tooke place in Italy in September. We followed the British team, the defending World Champions, to record their leap for victory. It was an extraordinary few days full of charged emotions, geeky teamwork and very small motorbikes. From a formal opening ceremony where each international team (from Australia through to the UK) paraded their bikes to the theme of their national anthem to tense competitive races and on to the final prize giving with podiums. The film follows three UK racers observed by their girlfriends who give a pragmatic and sweet insight into their boyfriend's absorbing hobby / obsession. Now that Kosovo has declared its independence from Serbia to become the Worlds newest country, plans by UN envoy Martti Ahtisaari envisage a new Kosovan security force.
