Hassan Haze created Hood News™ in his Long Beach apartment in the spring of 2005. The purpose of Hood News was to spread awareness in a community of the misinformed.
The first DVD focused on terrorizing police and the new injunctions placed in the law to target people of the Hood. The first volume went on to be an underground cult classic. The second volume "Freedom of Press" broadens the range from terrorizing police tactics to the homes of the people that this affects. Hood News™ covered stories from wrongfully accused, to medical marijuana Law prop 215. Hood News™ also stayed true to its form of being raw, uncut and unbelievable. The opening sequence is of a hold out situation involving a domestic violence suspect and the Compton sheriffs. The dialogue is simple and to the point then something tragic happens. Hood News™ also opens its entertainment reel but exposing the LA based Krump Dance phenomenal. The DVD is capped with a sermon by a religious leader who calls for peace among gang members for the sake of their grieving mothers. The total time of this video is 1hr 57mins but it is sure to keep your attention throughout.

Herd of White Elephants Going Extinct
After high formaldehyde levels were found in travel trailers used to house the victims of Hurricane Katrina, the federal government said it would use them again only if it had no other choice.
Which raises the question — what should be done with the almost 100,000 trailers now sitting idly at sites around the country, at a cost to the government of $130 million a year?
It looks as though most could end up being sold for scrap.
FEMA has acknowledged that formaldehyde can be a health problem for people living in some trailers, but it has not said the same for people living near storage sites.
The agency says the ongoing litigation has stalled its efforts to dispose of the more than 94,000 travel trailers it now has sitting — empty and unused — around the country.
Taking care of the empty trailers costs money — $28 million a year, just in Mississippi.

Il viaggio è così un fine ma anche un mezzo da utilizzare e Camden Town, un quartiere di Londra, è il posto nel mondo da raggiungere, attraverso il quale compiere l’ultima esperienza, forse la prima sensatamente irrazionale, di una storia d’amore andata a male. Il percorso verso la consapevolezza è una strada al di fuori del tempo e dello spazio, un treno che si trasforma in rifugio in cui la condivisione dell’esistenza diventa solidarietà al femminile. Tra i vagoni e i sedili del suo microcosmo alternativo è dato ridisegnare la realtà, ridipingerla di colori più vivi. Ma la meta rimane l’ultima frontiera, il confine da superare che si manifesta in un muro sul quale ripiegare la propria esperienza e scrivere a grandi l ettere la parola fine.
Era il 1999 quando ho iniziato Camden Town e nel 2000 scrivevo l'ultima pagina. Nello stesso anno questo breve romanzo è stato selezionato nella sezione Letteratura di Enzimi, il festival che ogni anno si svolge a Roma. New Orleans Bounce Movie "Ya Heard Me"
Ya Heard is about New Orleans music called Bounce. The movie shows how bounce got it start, the artist who created the unique sound and the city that kept it alive. The producers Matt and Stephen wanted to share their love of the music with the world. Editors Jonathan and Sue did a great job bringing years and tears of footage to the big screen.
