There was no porridge on the table and he didn't manage to break any chairs.

But otherwise, burglar Tommy Gill was a perfect Goldilocks.

After breaking into a house while the family were away, the 27-year-old raider was found slumbering in one of the children's beds surrounded by his hoard of stolen goods.

Yesterday, he was jailed for two years at Portsmouth Crown Court.

    • Ben Stein's movie defending "Intelligent Design" being released Apr...

The movie "EXPELLED: No Intelligence Allowed" is a documentary about how the people promoting ID are claiming to be persecuted by the scientific community, who will not allow ID to be introduced into public schools.

There was a recent court case, Kitzmiller v. Dover Area School District, which determined that Intelligent Design was creationism in disguise. NOVA produced a documentary about the case that can be viewed on-line.

One of the positions the judge cited for his decision to rule against the teaching of ID in the class room was based on evidence found showing “the text referred to as a resource for ID, Of Pandas and People, had originally been a creationist text.”

      Q: What is science?

      Q: Isn't evolution just a theory, not a fact?

      Q: What is intelligent design?

Q: Why not teach intelligent design, or creationism, alongside evolution?

These questions can be answered at this link http://www.pbs.org/wgbh/nova/id/defi-qa.html

    • Intelligent design is religion in disguise

Evolution is a proven thing, and if you want to believe in a religion that refutes that, that is fine, but don't call it science.

    • Princess Tiana ... coming soon!

Finally a Disney animated film with a African-American princess. I have loved all the Disney fairytale princess stories since I was little. It's nice that little people out there are going to be able to see a fairytale that stars characters that look like them. I like diversity :)

"Movie premise: A musical set in the legendary birthplace of jazz - New Orleans - The Princess and the Frog will introduce the newest Disney princess, Tiana, a young African-American girl living amid the charming elegance and grandeur of the fabled French Quarter. From the heart of Louisiana's mystical bayous and the banks of the mighty Mississippi comes an unforgettable tale of love, enchantment and discovery with a soulful singing crocodile, voodoo spells and Cajun charm at every turn."

Release date (tentatively) December 18, 2009
