Bomb scare in Big brother house
The Big Brother house was evacuated on Sunday morning after a security threat, Channel 4 has confirmed. A man contacted the show's base at Elstree Studios, Hertfordshire, claiming a bomb was nearby.
Programme makers cut the live feed and the 15 contestants were woken at 0240 BST and moved to a safe location. A spokesman said: "After the necessary checks were made, housemates returned to the house without incident and streaming was resumed."

Wellard to bark his last bark
The canine actor who plays Wellard in the BBC One's EastEnders is to retire from the show, it has been announced. Viewers will see Wellard killed off later this year. The Belgium shepherd, a bitch called Kyte, has featured in the soap for 14 years.
Wellard has, in fact, been played by three different dogs from the same family - Kyte, her mother and grandma. Wellard arrived in Walford in 1994 when Robbie Jackson, played by Dean Gaffney, found him wandering the streets. Big Brother hit by new bullying row
A new bullying row on Big Brother has sparked more than 750 complaints. Media watchdog Ofcom has received 505 complaints since Alex De Gale began launching foul-mouthed tirades at her housemates.

Blunkett TV show will use a fake prison to 'straighten out' youth
Ex-Cabinet minister David Blunkett is to try to get young criminals back on the straight and narrow in a new TV series. The Channel 5 TV series, Banged Up With Blunkett, will begin next month.
The programme will show a group of young people on the verge of committing offences and aim to steer them away from a life of crime. Skins 'orgy' poster is rapped by ad watchdog
A poster promoting Channel 4's teen drama Skins has been banned by the Advertising Standards Authority (ASA). It features two of the stars, April Pearson (Michelle) and Mike Bailey (Sid), surrounded by couples apparently taking part in an orgy.

John Loughton, a 20-year-old politician from Edinburgh, has taken the £50,000 prize as the winner of E4's series Big Brother: Celebrity Hijack. He got 54% of the vote in the final of the E4 show, beating circus performer Emilia Arata, 18.
