    • WHAT'S GOING ON?

WHAT'S GOING ON? travels abroad and locally to get a more global perspective on how we are viewed and why? As well as ask the other questions, why were we attacked on September 11, 2001? "What is America doing that is so evil that someone is willing to die for their cause?" - KRS-ONE, Author, Rapper and Public Speaker.

As the saying goes, knowledge is power, and knowing what contributed to the build up of our state of affairs currently, will help us avoid a disastrous continued path, Change is needed. But how do we move on and create a better outcome for our country and the world? It's all up to you. Get involved, learn, and make a difference. We have the opportunity of a 1960's revolution movement waiting at our feet. Will we take the challenge for a better tomorrow, or settle for a continued today.

WHAT'S GOING ON? is currently looking for Distribution.

    • In Danger and Out of Options

It all started with a phone call. On the other end, a man said, "I know who you are, and we are going to get you." When Houzan hung up the phone she was shaken. Many of her friends were already dead, murdered by insurgents.

This Iraqi interpreter for the U.S. ARMY knew she had to leave. Her life in jeopardy because she had spent the past three years helping those who had invaded her own country.

When she finally did flee, her problems were just beginning.

    • Not Open to Interpretation - An Iraqi interpreter for the US ARMY tells her story

If you were a college student at a university in Baghdad when the US-led invasion began, the job prospects upon graduating were not too hot. Many Iraqis took jobs as interpreters with the US forces; putting their lives, and those of their families at risk.

A departure from the typical media coverage of "Operation Iraqi Freedom," this pod tells the gut-wrenching story of a young Iraqi's struggle to make ends meet and stay alive. Eventually forced to flee the only home she had ever known, she set sights on a life in the US. But, what she didn't realize was once she left Iraq, the struggle would not soon be over.

She is one, but her story represents many.

This gives a little insight on why Soldiers do what they do - whether it's regular, every-day tasks or a fifteen month deployment to a hot, sandy country.
